This is a non issue. There's so much time left in recruiting and Orgeron is the best d line recruiter in the business. We'll get ours either way

That's interesting thanks for sharing.

I'd be fine with only one more DT : R Lawrence.
Il catch some flak for this, but we are set at DT. Especially when you add next year's class.
As long as the other guys that haven't committed yet go to Houston and not sec west im fine with one more.
Seems like we wanted all of them for the sake of keep away, anyway.
I don't know what depth chart you are looking at, we did not sign a DT in 2015, to only take 2 in this class would cause serious issues in 2017-2018. You can not count on kids to stay more than 3 years, not any more regardless of whether we think he's not ready. If they do great, but you have to prepare as if they will not.

Depends on how you look at it, as well. Does Steele go back and forth between 3-4 and 4-3? I don't know.
Also, I'd say DE is more of a need even if M. Bain stays there, but the high school DT talent is immense this year.
Also don't take too many of one position, especially if LB and OL are still thin.

You must do your civic duty and reveal the name of this mole or GTFO!!!

One thing I will say is that if we nab Lawrence, then I can confidently say that with Alexander we have two DT's that can start until at least 2018. We also have Shelvin who can be the rotation guy starting the next year. Godcheaux will be around until 2016. If we can then get either Stephon Taylor or Glen Logan then we are in great shape. We don't even need both of those two, but if we get both we are embarrassed with riches.

The way i look at it is, if Godchaux plays like i expect/hope he will be gone. I would not count on 2013 (Bain, Herron and Gilmore)signees to stay a 5th year and frankly if they are it probably means they really haven't become the type of players we were hoping for. It is too early to project pro status for Trey L, Clarke and Sione, but I would plan on at least 1 going pro and if all 3 stay for year 4, great, but why count on that? This is also assuming all the 2015-2016 and 2017 guys pan out / stay healthly when history tells that is not the case. What if we sign just 2 guys Alexander and Lawrence, what if one gets hurts? Struggles in the class room or has some other off the field issue? Then you you are screwed. We really need 5-7 DL in this class, schemes they plan to play will affect that of course, but only signing 2 DT is just asking for trouble.

again this assumes no one gets hurt, doesn't pan out as planned, has no off field/grade issues etc. 3 at DT is the bare minimum for this class, 4 gives you some cushion and a guy like Logan, now on board, may be able to play some DE.

My old teammate apparently is not as close to the situation as he thought and I am very happy about that. If/when I ever see him again I will tell him good call on the Logan to Bama. Dumbass!!! Just goes to show you the only people that truly know about a kid's college choice sometimes is the kid himself.

It's all good man. Just be sure to rub his nose in it next time you see him.

Told you he was going to commit to LSU.
