Getting the big commitment may bring out more stupidity than the waiting...

so far I've learned...
-Kiel is basically a combination of Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and a dash of Andrew Luck.
-Kiel has a good chance of beating out Mettenberger and at the very least Rivers needs to go ahead and pack his bags.
- Kiel is the most important recruit for LSU....ever.

There's actually a hint of truth in all that.

The stupidity comes from those emphatically proclaiming it as fact or from those emphatically denying the possibilities.

Rivals says Kiel reminds them of Peyton manning, so it must be true

it really demonstrates the phrase that the best QB on the team is always the back-up.

Yep. The truth is somewhere in between the extremes.

don't get me wrong, I love the guy as a prospect and all. Some just need to calm down a bit, many seem to have already forgotten how pumped we were to land Mett and Randall last season and are now ready to push those guys out of the way to begin the Kiel era

on the other hand, we've also learned that...

- throws well when he's not pressured
- throws off his back foot
- isn't anywhere close to RP's ability
- played against slow white boys
