GM will face Mandeville for a share of the district title. Covington hasn't been in this situation in a long time and GM is one of the reasons they are there. LSU has an offer to him but he is staying pretty silent. As per the others says LSU in top three. Would be a great Tiger, I have watched this young man dominate as a sophomore . Big rivalry here, Mandeville beat Covington back to back weeks last year 31-0 as Covington drew Mandeville in first round of playoffs after playing their last regular season game against them.

I saw Covington play Northshore, wasn't all that impressed to be honest. Small sample size I know, but does anyone else have more insight on the kid?

I've seen him 3 times this year. I think he's a good talent, but at times completely disappears. Also would see him take 3-4 plays off at one time then go hard for 2-3. I don't think at 6'1 260 as a DT you can take any plays off, imo. I think the running back, #6 I believe, is way more important to that team than anyone else.

Check the link, he has a ton of big offers. Sad to hear he's taking plays off. Some of those offers might be pulled and rivals has not updated but I really don't know. I haven't seen him this year.

I think he has slipped this year, but may explode if he becomes a Tiger

I'm mandeville 08

I've actually watched a decent number of games this of of mandevilles. They had a pretty good team. I don't think they have an answer for McDowell.

'85 was a little bit ahead of me. That's around the time my family and friends like Cedric Collins and Reggie were at Slidell. I actually had a some family at Mandeville as well, Phillip and Jimmy Baptiste.

I played against one of the best football players to come out of Mandeville in B.J. Sams. He was a beast.

What position does he project to play in college? He seems to be too small for a DL, and I do not know if he is skilled enough to play LB. Any thoughts?
