Putt Dorsey was 6'1 on a good day, had a decent College career. Josh Downs weighed 280-290 and played a lot of Football here. If our Staff likes him, so should we.

Yes, Glenn Dorsey was 6'1.5" on arrival for training camp with KC Chiefs. Height isn't an issue, here.

There are a fair number of gap-penetrating DT's at or around 6-1. Also, if he stays at end, remember Dwight Freeney and Elvis Dumervil are, I think, 6-1 and 5-11, respectively. Not saying McDowell will be as good as those guys (he might eventually be). Just saying that if you have quickness, technique, strength, relentlessness, etc, lacking some height doesn't necessarily hold you back from excelling on the d-line.

Logan and Down didnt have issues with it, and he's pretty similar in size to those guys coming out, so I'm not concerned

235 the summer before at camp, I think. I'm thinking Logan may be the best comparison, which gets me more excited
