Yes because some douchebags duped an old man with a lie, when in reality he's trying to find information to share with other LSU fans that have no time or resources to get that kind of information.
I know it got a good laugh from some of you. but in the end it was no more than a classless prank on an old man.

overall, DD's blog is great and he does as good a job as anyone as far as LSU sports go.
what he doesn't do is panic and succumb to the rampid rumor mill that many others do. he doesn't just throw shite on the wall simply to improve his readership. he's even keeled and is far more professional than 95% of the sports "jounalists" out there.

LSU needs to turn of the heat on De'Jon Harris!! He will immediately have lots of chemistry and know how to play with Divinity, and LSU really needs more LB's in a big way! If he is good enough to be at Arkansas then he is good enough to be at LSU. May need some work, but that's okay.

It may be a foreign concept to some but Scott at DD gives an honest assessment based on what he's gotten from his sources. He's not going to make wild predictions or claim to be the "guy in the know". He'll even admit when he's wrong. He actually approaches LSU sports from a fan's perspective with some insider knowledge vs a guy trying to prove how smart he is.

Dandy Don gets its fair share of grief especially from the Ratphuc Hobley situation. However, the site is free and Scott does a good job. It is clearly a labor of love for the guy.
Just a quick thought: I played in the same little league but on a different team as Scott in the late 70s and early 80s. I remember Mr Long driving a pickup truck with an LSU bumper sticker that said "No Place Like Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium". Mr Long clearly loved LSU, and Scott shares the same passion.

like the big recruiting sites with all their resources don't make big misses as well. What about '5 star lb' Clifton Garrett?

Do we still have a shot at Buster Hyman?

On a side note whatever happened to Mr. Clean? I remember he did tons of recruiting tidbits throughout Louisiana.
