Sorry guys. Not much news today so this will be a short roundup.
Hunter Bivin plans to visit LSU on March 17 for a "Junior Day" He has an LSU offer and is a great OL.

With the commitment of Tyrone Swoopes to Texas, it should be less than 24 hours until we hear Ricky Seals-Jones is committed to Texas.

Texas has emerged as the overwhelming favorite in the race for the 6-foot-5, 215-pound prospect. It would seem as though LSU would be Texas' stiffest competition, but according to a source that's not the case.In fact, the source told us that Seals-Jones really didn't like his visit to LSU. The main reason the trip was taken is Seals-Jones' brother wanted him to make the trip. If the Tigers are second in the running, we’re told it's a very distant second.
Some things to watch for this weekend. Alabama,A&M , and Florida are all having junior days.
Darian Claiborne is on commit watch when he heads to A&M this weekend.

Good to see that LSU is recruiting some of the top national prospects at OT.

Make no mistake I think RSJ is going to Texas but I don't buy the Texas spin on him not enjoying his visit to LSU. We are a distant 2nd but most of that has to do with him liking Texas more,Swoopes and his parents pushing Texas.
I really like Antwan Davis but do want to see how he's recovered from his back injury before being sold on him completely. Like Whitmill but I think Claiborne is right there and an easy get. I understand our staff hitting Texas hard but not at the expense of getting behind the eightball with instate kids to go after kids that are comparable talents. This is not as much about Claiborne as about Melvin Jones. Haven't seen a LB or DE offer OOS that I'd take over Jones. Prevot is the only one in the argument imo. Just my opinion and the coaches differ so it's all good.

Good get if it holds. He's probably the best cb in Texas. If Texas offers his stance could change.

I think whoever said that about his LSU visit is FOS. While everyone knows RSJ will be a horn, even the Orangebloods guys mention LSU as a possible reason he hasn't pulled the trigger.
My gut tells me he waits it out longer than expected....but he prolly commits to texas by Monday
