It's my understanding that losing a player that's already enrolled has no effect on the number of available scholarships per year. There is a limit of 85 total scholarships, so his leaving frees up one more under the total cap, but would not increase the total available for 2016. However, since Martin wound up going to juco last year, that scholarship might be open to an early enrollee if the staff can find one. So, there may be room for 26, but not because of Garrett. Of course, Cutrer and Valentine-Okeke haven't gotten eligible to enroll yet, so their spots might bump the number to 28...but only if they don't make it and early enrollees in 2016 can take their spots. At least that's how I understand it.
