Meat Market 2.0?

quote:

At 7:10 a.m., LSU gets a jolt of good news. Dennis “Meatball” Johnson, the Tigers’ young outside linebackers coach, tells Orgeron he just got a text from Chaisson. “He said, ‘I’m coming. No doubt.’”

“WOOHOOOO!” Orgeron shouts as his face lights up before giving Johnson a big fist bump.

“WAY TO GO, MEATBALL!”

I'm actually in the middle of Meat Market right now. I know, I'm way behind. Terrific book.

Even though Orgeron’s been in this office for four months, it’s still sparsely decorated. There are big binders full of scouting reports and game plans for various opponents;

I chuckled

I read it when it first hit paperback. I remember thinking, "If someone wrote a book like this every year, I would read it every year."

Sorry to hijack the thread, but has anyone read Feldman's book "The QB: The Making of the Modern Quarterback?" Any good?

I mean they did what they could. You win some, you lose some. Marv just preferred the 4-3 over 3-4. Simple as that.

I've got Meat Market. I read a few chapters but never finished it. Great book so far, though

I have not.

Bowls, Polls, and Tattered Souls is a good one. It's about the BCS and Notre Dame.

If you have not read Meat Market, and you are a fan a recruiting in the SEC...you are doing it wrong.

Orgeron wasn't the first one in the building this morning. Derek Ponamsky arrived 45 minutes earlier to get a quick workout in.

Don't buy that. Aranda has said he plays different schemes. so he could play a 4-3 or 3-4.
