used to see Clifford doing road work around St Martinville. He would run down main street with no shirt on. He was a scary looking MFer but was really nice to talk to. I didnt know what happened to him, cocaine is a helluva drug

I don't think that is his uncle. I do know Leroy Etienne and Clifford are related though.
quote:
I watched The Rhino fight at the River Center once. He kept throwing the same combo over and over (2 to the body, 1 to the head). End of the 3rd round he went back to that, but delivered the last one to the body and his opponent seemingly died in the middle of the ring. It's as if he no-longer had a bone structure, and he just puddled right where he was standing. It was amazing.
I never saw him box. But he was always on Richard Condon's show back in the day to talk about his upcoming fights. Anyone who used to listen to BR talk radio should know who Clifford is.

Helped Tyson make his comeback.
If by getting KO'd in under 2 min means helping, then sure.

went to school with cliff since the 5th grade. he has one sister who is a law clerk to a judge in the 16th. He has no brothers. If Travis is in fact a nephew, must be more distant.
BTW, i was there for the baton rouge fight and the memphis fight with Tyson. Actually, I used to watch him fight when he was at Dixon Corrections. And, yes, cocaine is a hellava drug.

From Wikipedia:
"On June 22, 2006, following his trial in Baton Rouge, Etienne was found guilty and sentenced to 160 years in prison without parole for an allegedly cocaine fueled crime spree that included robbing a check cashing business, carjacking and kidnapping a family, and attempting to shoot two policemen. In April 2013 his sentence was reduced from 160 years to 105 years due to a technicality."
