Running back. I want to see a big-time top player in the nation offensive player at WM before I die.

Tell the coaches and get it done. Moore would be a top 5 back by the time he was a senior if they did this. A 6'0 220 sophomore back that strong and athletic?

I know ya'll are all about defense, but just let it simmer for a day or so and think about it.

Kid may not want to play running back, but the team may need him.

Not would...could...Mainly because of what you've said previously. He can't throw it to himself. He is easy to lock on to if he's at QB vs QB/RB/Slot/WR

Would love to see that too. I don't see that person in the pipeline as of now. JJ may have more input with that.

JJ27, who do you seeing as the backup QB? I know GK will get playing time if nothing else but for development. Much of his contribution will be how much growth he has this summer.

Depends on how Max and Coop develop. They have the potential to be elite. All I heard was how amazing Hunter was this year for the freshmen. Coop had over a thousand yards in 4 games for us at West Ridge.

As far as QB, G has to put on weight. If he does, he has the potential to be the best true QB to ever play at WM, without a doubt.

JJ,

Any insight into where Bolden is looking to go? Obviously still a long way to go but is he hoping for an LSU offer? Dual sport athlete?

Watched his highlight tape again recently and my goodness. He's Christian McAffrey 2.0.

Slade seems open at the moment. He's listening to everyone and weighing his options. Does he go to the SEC? Does he go to a spread team in the Big 12/PAC? Does he stay home and get the ball 10 times a game at Tech from day 1? Does he play just football or does he play baseball as well? Honestly, no one knows what will happen.

JJ I was told that he would also play Running Back from someone else besides you, for what that is worth.

He wouldn't stay there of course, but would play a lot of time there.

I still don't see a viable replacement at running back, and that is why I mentioned moving Moore to running back. I don't understand what is so wrong with that? I've seen his highlights and some game-film and he could be an elite back.

If ya'll have the depth ya'll state on defense, why not take that chance on offense? A 6'0 220 lb back as quick and fast as he is (not just strong)?

I'd give it a shot if I were out there and see what happened. If he isn't going to start on defense, let him play some offense.

I'm very excited about Hutchinson being out there. With proper tutelage he could be a 5 star type talent in 2 years. That defensive line is going to be ridiculous. Every bit as good as any you will see nationally, anywhere.

Max Hunter could be very good if he can bulk up A LOT. But, his speed and quickness is elite.

He has great vision too.

So, is it true that West Monroe and Neville are playing again JJ?

If true, where?

And if where, Neville must be dranking as they do not have a prayer next year with what they have returning.

Know of any transfers they have received themselves? I'm sure they will get a few this off-season themselves

WM's non district schedule I believe is:

Week 1 John Ehret
Week 2 Battle on the Border BTW OK
Week 3 Wossman
Week 4 Nuxabee County, MS
Week 5 at Neville

Pretty stout

I'm confused. Are you talking about moving freshman D Lineman Malcolm Moore to running back?

Yes, Malcolm Moore. He is around 6'0 215-220 and that is ideal size for running back with his athletic ability.

He needs to play someplace. Hunter is tiny and unless Bolden is playing quarterback every play, the option read won't be a great scheme against superior opponents keying in on one player with equal speed and talent--see Landry Walker and Curtis and Madison Central.

Coleman was truly the key to the offense last year as Coach Hunt said multiple times.

Make no mistake, Moore would be no full-back with his athleticism. He would be a true running back.

Just an idea.

You will probably see four juniors starting next year with all four being potential college recruits. It will be interesting to see them develop and if LSU ever has any interest in any of them.

Depending on how they develop, I'm interested to see if Bama is able to pull one or two of them if they turn out as great as y'all are saying. Haven't been to a game in a year or so, so not up to date on the younger players. Fingers crossed they've got the Louisiana raised LSU dream in them and end up in tigahland

Their top prospects are Andrew Gleason-defensive end; Darren Hutchinson-defensive tackle; Malcolm Moore-defensive end; Ethan Boyer-defensive tackle.

Gleason and Hutchinson are 2019 recruits and sure fire SEC players.

Moore and Boyer are 2020 recruits. They have the tools, but we will know more next year how they do with a full year at the varsity level.

Swanner is just undersized and tore his ACL against Zachary. Hopefully he can weather that storm from such an unfortunate injury on an incredible play.

I understand the reason for the question but I do not have the answer. I edited the video for them and only have the stats I was given. Maybe he did not have many. Because a defensive tackle's job is to stop the run, take on blockers to free up the line backers and put pressure straight up the middle.

Pressure straight up the middle sometimes results in a sack. I understand where you are coming from I just find it very odd that you have his stat for QB hurries but not for sacks when obviously he has a few from the film. Not dogging you bro, just saying the stat keeper should have that.

Regardless of his sack stats, his other stats are very impressive, especially for playing 5A and only being a sophmore. But if the sack stats are nearing double digits you know the guy is an absolute monster. It's one of the reasons everyone knew M. Wilson was a beast, he had one season with 14 sacks and another with 15.
