Enjoy 247's composite rankings until it's watered down by ESPN on April 18th

All they do is copy rivals/247

Then change it around to cater to the recruits who committed to the under armor game

Then change it to favor Alabama Texas USC Florida state etc

Then just throw the rest at the wall and hope they stick

You forgot to add that they pick the highest rated player from Louisiana that signs with Alabama and ranks that recruit as the top player from the State of Louisiana

No. They only properly evaluate players that go to the Nike combines. I have friends that are terrible at football but they got a 3* just because they attended a Nike combine and got a sparq rating. The only things they grade on espn are measurables.

All of them are to some degree about the combines. They all place WAY more emphasis on combine attendance and measureables (height and forty in particular) than anything else. None of them place much emphasis on what a kid has done in pads.

I've never understood the hate for ESPN's rankings, best in the business. Very rarely do they have any major screwups. Spot on for the most part. Scout is much worse imo
