Quite the name. Is this ANOTHER one of USC's de-commits on top of the other 2 recent ones?

Didn't he have a pretty bad knee injury like right after he committed to USC?

I thought that they have only 2 decommits so far? but just a lot of guys visiting other places, such as vanderoes, ramsey, heck almost everybody.

Just my opinion, but among receivers out there -- and I could be overlooking somebody -- priority would be

1. RSJ
2. Spears
3. Massington

The knee is scary. Makes one want to take a "project" player like Spears over him.

Massington is the second decommit so far...Max Redfield was the other. All recruits are allowed to take visits so we'll see who sticks it out and who doesn't.

Vanderdoes isn't going anywhere unless Coach O leaves. Ramsey is one recruit i'm nervous about especially if Tee Martin ends up going back to the south and Chris Hawkins seems to be wavering as well.

Massington decommitted because we did not have a spot for him as an Early Enrollee anymore. This was as amicable a parting of ways as could be, but Massington is upset because USC was his dream school (he said this in an interview less than two weeks ago). But he brought it upon himself.

The coaching staff was not happy when he went to the Vols camps this summer and blew out his knee. He was told to go support his teammate, but not workout at the camp (which he did).

He is also pushing his rehab, and from what I was told, this is a concern. Until we hear otherwise, he have to be spot-on with our selection of recruits. Unfortunately we cannot take a chance with questionable recruits.

Coach Marvin Sanders visited him earlier in the week at home, and this is when these discussions came about. I wish the kid well.

Vanderdoes I am iffy on now. The fact he is visiting Notre Dame last now (instead of USC) is a concern imo.

Ramsey and Hawkins are solid. Ramsey just visted, unofficially, for the Notre Dame game. He stayed at the Hawkins household, and now has "family" out there. He is also very close with Sua Cravens.

Once we get 5* Leon McQuay III this weekend, our secondary will look good in this recruiting class.

All three:

1. USC alum

2. Wife went to UNC Chapel Hill for law school
(no one to follow in the Ivy League where
she did her undergrad).

3. Grew up in NOLA

not too sure about that. from what I'm hearing neither is very happy with the coaches at the moment. I'm sure Hawkins will stick but I'm not very confident with Ramsey as I used to be.

Bama is growing more and more confident with Ramsey. Massington says we are his favorite too. Think foster is the higher priority though.

Any word on Torrodney Prevot? We were on him hard before he committed to USC. Would be a great steal especially if we don't get Tim Williams

Hawkins reaffirmed-- and I know this-- his commitment to the Trojans.

Ramsey is solid as well.

But there is some time left in the recruiting cycle. We'll see...
