I don't think Holy Cross has anyone of note, but Karr is loaded to the teeth as you already know. Did you go to the Karr/Aug game?

I'm wondering if Holy Cross can give them a game. They handled Aug pretty easily early in the season.

Yeah I saw that. Karr might come out flat after the St Aug game it was very high tensed. HC might be able to punch dem in the mouth early and make it a game

Notes about the aug/Karr game. Very impressed with noil and Willis. Noil is about as shifty and quick as they come. Will score alot of points in college and will play on Sundays. Speaking of playing on Sundays, Gerald Willis is almost as sure of a bet to be playing on Sundays as I've ever seen. Has the nfl motor and body right now as a junior in high school. He straight out flattened Leonard f on a pass block, and made it look easy. He was unblockable all night. I really liked linebacker elcee refuge. Real solid linebacker not afraid to hit. And once again I wish we would reconsider Noel Ellis. Despite his father, the kid can play and I think we will hate playing against him while at a&m. Very very impressed with fournette. Plays harder than anyone I've ever seen at the high school level. Played both ways all night, as well as kickoff return and kickoff. Was spy on speedy all night and caused a big fumble. But had to be worn out, and I would have liked to see what he could have done of he would have played offense and ST all night. His numbers would have been better. And fwiw someone very very close to the Karr program has said that both of those players from Karr are lsu lock. Which is great news.

GW couldn't be blocked... LF was a str8t warrior..... Speedy Noil is probably the best athlete I've watched in a long time. LSU need to secure these kids and that's a must.

Yeah, it's almost unfair for opposing teams.

The West Bank is just a factory for D1 talent. (It's only a matter of coaching them, which Juluke seems to have done a great job with).

best to on the field for HC will be #8 CB - Ki-Jana Curtis and #9 WR Spears. Defense is solid all around, well disciplined.

Actually in the 70s had they kept west Jeff together...... In the 80s they would have been unreal...

I Remember referring a Jesuit shaw game once the jesuit kids were calling shaw west bank trash all game....

Everyone that touched the ball for Jesuit except for kickersnwas from the west bank.....of course the ones that touched the ball for shaw were pretty good...

As for karr.. I don't think all of their kids are from the westbank

I didnt know Karr was a charter. Must be nice.

Edna Karr reopened as a high school serving grades 9-12. Under the Algiers charter, Edna Karr once again has open enrollment and therefore is open to all students in Orleans Parish.

Karr and Walker are both Charter schools under the Algiers Charter School Association. They can pull kids from all over Orleans Parish, they don't have to be just in Algiers.

Landry was being run by either a different Charter group, or the state. I don't think they are being merged with OP Walker.

And also, if you did merge Karr and OP Walker, it wouldn't = 4A Dynasty. It would equal a team that could probably win the Southland conference.

Spears had a spectacular catch in the Lagrange game. It's going to be tough to compete against karr, though.

I agree with u, I attended Karr when it was a Jr Highschool, the very next year they became a senior HS I also went to L.B.Landry and I graduated from O P.WALKER so I know the whole drama of O.P.W merging with L.B.L I have attended about 6 of their meetings. The Navy base want their land back so O.P.W have no choice they have lost their school so they have to merge it makes since L.B.L just build a new school that could house Landry,Walker and Karr in one school.
