He committed to Bama when he did because it was the perfect time to do so with the fewest reasons to hate on him. If he decides on LSU, he is welcomed with open arms. If he sticks with Bama he has the uncertainty of future at LSU excuse.

This kid's recruitment is not over. Watch what you say until after he has signed to his school of choice. Kid may really be torn.

He just needs to get to know coach and the staff better. Our HC permanent position will play a big part. I still believe this kid will be a Tiger laying wood with White.

He's a huge recruit and you should put an all out press on him. Especially as coach O who is fighting for a chance to get interim off his title. He gets him to switch back to lsu it's a huge get for him and lsu. Why I love coach O and how many players has saban ever gave up on I wonder

Yup. Think I'll take Leonard's words on this one. Kid is the enemy. Stop being so fricking gullible. The coaches have to play the game. They're paid to. We're not.

That would pretty much convince me of what's going on.

If Moses ever comes back for another visit, I hope they put him with Leonard.

I just don't get it.

Why would he decommit from us.. then the very next week after committing to Alabama.. he visits here.. after he had no plans of visiting.

It seems really cruel.

I guess he's just going to a game with his father is all it could be.. but then why be on the field? I just don't get it with Dylan and the others who commit to Alabama. It's hurtful enough then he still shows up. The very following week..

I'd love nothing more than for him to be apart of LSU and the future here.. but if he has no intentions.. not sure why he visits.. especially when he says he is recruiting for Bama.

Come on man, LSU was nothing but great to you. Don't rub it in our face. Hope he changes his mind, but I just don't get any of it.. especially the timing.

He may be truly torn hence the look on his face. He's always loved the Tigers. Gotta be tough on him to think that a rival may be better for him. I personally think the better move is here. For one we have depth issues so he could play right away if he comes in and does well. At bama he will probably be 2 years away. Beckwith should be all over Moses. He was torn as well. Now he will be top LBer pick. If Moses wants to play early his best chance is Lsu. Aranda could do a lot with Moses. Big position of need. No way do we give up on him

It's not over until December, we have several hidden advantages here. Coach EO hell of closer, Coach Raymond family.Several IMG teamates headed here.If we had a named HC and no uncertainty at HC position, Dylan would be all LSU. Look at the NFL we produce and thats what kids notice... Let's get LSU HC straightened out and we will get our recruits. My predictions: "Buggs next Boom" coming soon!
S- Harris, DT- Wilson, Mathis LB-Moses(flip) Allen, Chaisson. RB-Akers sorry we don't get him, T. Etienne ours NSD if RB Coach Juluke press. WR 1/2 (McMath, Jefferson) Coach EO Head Ball coach, we need homerun OC, for it to work. Or HC, OC keep Defensive coaching staff intact or all bets off...

Here's my take.
When Dylan's dad stopped posting here I figured he was looking around.
He was close to Coach Miles and probably had emotions about him being fired.
He commited to Bama for reasons we don't know. Maybe pressure, maybe someone playing with his head at an opportune time.
He was back here, possibly to talk to other recruits, but possibly he still feels a connection here. This is his state and its hard to let something go you love.
I say, let him visit, treat him with respect, and see where it goes.
If he's here for no good, it will be apparent, if he really is torn, then LSU has nothing to lose being respectful to him.

As a former recruit (albeit years ago), I am not going to villanize this young man for the current state of his recruiting. He's a hot commodity with an open mind that truly does have hard feeling s for home. The Les Miles situation is absolutely reason to appreciate what he's done recently.

The coach he had known for years (and trusted) has been removed, and that is a huge thing to grasp with the volitility of the LSU environment. IMHO, the smart play is lock up a seat at Bama, then calmly see how things unfold at LSU. That is not sleazy......it's smart.

This is his life and well being, so understand that he will do what's right for him.

Also, be careful thinking you know what his intentions are if you've never experienced anything close to what he's going through.

Best of luck D!

Listening to Culotta and the Fan, sounds like it was a real visit. Was at practice Friday as well.

Well said...much changeover in the program, and who knows how much more is to come. Let's see what the next few weeks/months bring. We obviously need LB's and the promise of early PT MUST be attractive at his home state's school.

That reminds me of the old saying "They Will Stop At Nothing" (so if we do nothing maybe they will stop).

If he was truly done with LSU he would not waste his time or put himself into a sticky situation. I believe he ends up at LSU as well.
