I have seen this a lot with basketball talent. He is too protected, and his head is too big. It couldn't not be. However, that super elite talent is there, and when he gets in a college system he is going to bow up.

The fact that he and his dad both read this board and a few people (not you in particular) were freaking out over 1 game of tape where he wasn't getting a sack or busting someone's head open on every play.

Can any insiders respond here, is RB talked about during his recruitment recently? If Akers is OM bound & Swilling to GA Tech, that might be a great opportunity for him at RB. How lucky/fortunate for Miles, loses the 2 big power backs he was after, & a 5 star stud falls in his lap. And if his skill set translates better at RB, everybody wins. That's an awfully big, fast kid & will be tough to tackle in few years of a college S&C program. Another benefit would be freeing up another LB spot, since there was debate on here recently regarding taking 6 LBs. Where ya at Duckie, Jimmy D, Cousin, Drunken T?

I'm not an insider man, far from it. That said, I haven't read anything about him being a RB in about a year. Anything is possible if and when he gets to campus, but Aranda is who he talks to the most and the only thing he lacks at LB is experience. Right now he is an ATH playing LB, give him some time and he can be a star there.

Moses had 13 tackles in his first game at IMG. While alternating series!!! (You should check out his latest hudl video)

And the haters say he didn't do anything in the game.

He's on pace for 195 tackles. And that's not crazy talk. He had 175 last year.

Not an insider, but he's a linebacker all the way.

I thought he looked to be a great rb but his size was pushing him towards the defensive side of that ball.

but we will for sure need him at lb since we have none right now.

I don't think he peaked too early. However I think because of his earlier size advantage and plays he made, some want every play to be a SC top 10. That simply isn't going to happen. He is very good and will be a star at LSU.

Can't wait to see him take the field in purple and gold!

Good thing rivals is a joke. Yawn.....

An Alabama grads site ranking him so low..... Can only tell me he really is not on the bama train and this LSU resurgence is legit. Rank him 3 stars rivals....please keep it up....

Moses is the truth, the dude has been a man amongst boys since pee wee, there's a reason hes as highly ranked for as long as he has been. Were talking nearly 6'3, 235, running 4.4 40s. And he did it in a class at u high that is not a bunch of powder puff teams. John Curtis was the main competition come playoffs, and if not for the LHSAA screwing up everything and devaluing the class system in LA, then hes still here defending the state title he won last year by beating Parkview, three times in a year, for those unaware, Parkview wouleve beaten my class at uhigh (05) 55 to nothing with ease when I was there, Parkview is a tradition rich football school, and lost three times to Moses in one year...that's how far the program came, because of guys like Moses. The thought he went to IMG to soften the him not going to LSU blow was half right, because he was truly undecided and maybe almost embarassed some. Couldn't hear the LSU stuff all senior season when its this big of a decision. Think its more solid now for him, but good for the kid for Getting somewhere he could breathe in this experience without GEAUX every second of the day.....other half was the strength of schedule and real national exposure to solidify his true talent. Think he didn't hear all the peaked too early, playing soft opponents?...never got in his head? And he did what other guys do in that situation, go to a primary football academy full of blue chips from all over the nation, in arguably the best high school football state in the U.S. and all hes done is dominate from jumpstreet. Kid could play running back, linebacker in any system and any spot inside or out, and strong safety legitimately at the elite college and possibly professional level and im underselling him...
No, he has not peaked friend. Hes just beginning.

Dylan Moses not being a five star is just crazy. Even when he was going to Bama any reasonable LSU fan would have admitted he's a top 3-5 player in America.
