Any WR recruits watching Dwayne Bowe lighting it up in the playoffs today? How many A&M WRs are in the NFL?

Maybe he just liked A&M more

Brandon LaFell, Reuben Randle, and Dwayne Bowe are pretty damn good though.

Also in the last decade: Michael Clayton, Josh Reed, Devery Henderson, Craig Davis, Early Doucet, Demetrius Byrd.
Need I say more?

Do you have reading comprehension problems? Re-read the first post in the thread.

quote:Had a great Rookie season, was nothing above mediocre the rest of his career. He was basically below average the entire time in the NFL if you take away that first season.
Michael Clayton
quote:Pretty good NFL career, never anything special. Very consistent throughout, though.
Josh Reed
quote:Consistent, pretty good NFL career. Never a #1, but you could always count on him to be solid.
Devery Henderson
quote:Complete and utter bust. LSU did get him drafted high, though.
Craig Davis
quote:Nothing to brag about. I don't think he was even anything higher than a #3 option on any team.
Early Doucet
quote:Didn't an injury derail his NFL career (car crash or something)? Sucks because he was pretty good, but he is nothing to brag about either.
Demetrius Byrd

Noil to A&M. Can you say "Speedy Football" (Manziel Part 2)? Speedy wants to do it all and Sumlin said Ok.

So, tell me again how many WRs from A&M are/were in the NFL in the last decade?

Dupre and Quinn about to carry the torch starting next year.

I never claimed Texas A&M to be more Wide Receiver U, nor did I even say they are more deserving than that of LSU... I simply said LSU wasn't Wide Receiver U, and that was it.
However, since you asked... Ryan Swope was drafted in the 6th round in 2013, Reggie McNeal was drafted in the 6th round in 2006, Terrence Murphy was drafted in the 2nd round in 2005, Jamaar Taylor was drafted in the 6th round in 2004, Bethel Johnson was drafted in the 2nd round in 2003, Robert Ferguson was drafted in the 2nd round in 2001, Chris Taylor was drafted in the 7th round in 2001, and Chris Cole was drafted in the 3rd round in 2000 (I stopped at the year 2000).

How many of them made an NFL roster?

I listed the guys that had been drafted.

Well, all the guys I listed actually made an NFL roster except for Byrd who was injured in a car accident right before the draft. So, you haven't proven jack shite. And my point is that any kid wanting a shot as a WR in the NFL has a better chance coming out of a pro style offense such as LSU runs rather than that rinky dink shite that A&M runs. These kids are falling for a load of crap if they think A&M is a better option for a WR than LSU.
