SEC Country article

hudl

Grew up down the street from his dad. They've been to nearly every camp within reasonable driving distance from Slidell. Kid has been putting in work. His dad has been looking for ways to help him improve and lock up the LSU offer. I think Eddie has the tools, but not sure if he'll need to camp well over the summer or if he's further away from the offer.

Had a decent year last year while playing both ways at times for Salmen. Just wondering what the Rant thinks about his potential.

Only problem I see is he is a DB. 5 star DB's are lining up to come to LSU. Looks like a really good DB though.

Tell him to keep grinding and good luck to him!!!!!

I agree at this point he's probably behind the 8 ball with the staff high on so many high profile guys. Hopefully he can put himself in the conversation.

Always love to see former Spartans. I was a starting WR on the Katrina team that saved the school! I wish him well!

The kid is a really good DB that has been in constant communication with Raymond and said Raymond told him he'll get an offer soon. It's just a numbers game.

I had many family members play sports at Salmen. Even more at Slidell HS and a couple at Northshore HS.

That seems to be the common feeling many are having. He has talent but where does he fit in the class that has been loaded with early commits and offers. I feel if others don't take the opportunity soon enough, he may find himself lucky enough.

Go to as many camps as he can, including the big LSU summer camp. And do his thing. The chips will fall where they may. Tyrann wasn't even a thought until he started crushing it at camps out of state. Went to the LSU camp and left with an offer and committed shortly afterwards. Again will be pulling for him...

Awesome. I forgot about TM7's recruitment. Can't wait to see how this all shakes out. Good kid from a very nice family. His dad definitely will not play around with this kid getting caught up in the streets that he dealt with coming up. Nice seeing guys like that create a different situation for their children.

Thanks for the responses.

Yes sir, Tyrann was a 2 or 3 star......if I remember correct. And they had no choice but to give him an offer despite others higher on the board. Great to hear about his dad. Many grew up without a dad in their lives, including myself. It's the need to overcome that and not let it victimize their future and actually use that as fuel to drive you. Also helps me be the best dad I can be to my children. The streets should not raise anyone's children. I applaud this young mans family and him for listening and seeing the guiding light. Again tell him to be relentless in his quest to make his dreams a reality. It's in his hands, somewhat..
