He's playing for an adidas AAU team. That basically sealed the deal.

It sucks that that is how it is, but before anyone gets too up in arms don't forget that it helped us with Antonio Blakeney.

I know this is naive, but I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that this is a legitimate concern in CBB.
CFB recruiting is bad enough, I'm thankful it hasn't gone the way of CBB just yet.

You see some kids come out with a list of top 10 teams and every school is sponsored by the same company their AAU team is affiliated with, coincidence or not? It's not every kid tho, some consider several schools and choose who they want but it's definately a problem.
On somewhat of a different note, I have no idea how this class will finish. I am really hoping jones isn't relying on a big 5 star finish at the end of the class and we end up with 0 true post players. Missing on Gresham and jarreau and most likely ado (getting a ton of cb to ms st) I'm not sure who else is still on the board. I know crazy things happen in cbb recruiting but I have 0 confidence that we end up with a good enough class to help us compete next year. That's assuming we lose Simmons, tone and TQ.
