Just read on another board he committed to Ohio state but haven't seen anything to back it up. Anyone got anything on this

Urban can recruit and he can point to alot of QB production that has been sustained under his watch. He will prolly do well in that offense.

That hurts our situation. Jeremy Johnson is all Auburn and just waiting for that offer. Mitch sounds like he is staying closer to home at USCe.

well, we about to learn the state of LSU recruiting as of now. we lost barrett (a texas guy) to ohio state. now, lets see what happen with huermann and the dt from texas (former a&m commit). they seem interested in ND and mich. if we don't land these 2 guys (losing to northern schools with little recent success) that would be a very bad sign for confidence in the short term.

How do y'all feel about the QB's still left on the board. I know it's still early in the process, but it seems like QB's commit early. I may get bashed for saying this, but I'm really not thrilled right now. Out of all the QB's we have offered, I thought we had the greatest chance of landing Barrett.

Urban has three QB's who make his career in terms of QB recruiting.
Alex Smith - He didn't recruit him but Smith blossomed under his watch.
Tim Tebow - Freak of nature; Meyer lied to him & Snead IIRC.
Cam Newton - Meyer would still be at UF if he never stole that laptop/cheated on his tests.

LSU's QB recruiting is in serious trouble. We just can't get that top notch QB here. If these kids were even a little smart, they'd realize how could this program can be with a top notch QB. Hopefully, they will all see this coming season
