Talking recruiting with some friends of mine and Williams name come up, I was told that he is a real game changer and by far the best pure wide receiver on the board but I dont see much talk about him. Anyway I know you guys know your shite when it comes to recruiting. What are LSU chances of landing him? thanks.

Some people still think our chances are good. Supposedly LSU has always been his dream school, but auburn seems to be high on his list as well

If he's not at LSU, it's because of things outside of football

He gets lots of love from LSU and the fan base. If he doesn't come, it won't be because he's not getting the attention.

Certainly a take on ability but the consensus opinion that he is the classic 1 and done guy like C Patterson (TN) in 2012 class who LSU recruited heavily sort of makes this not as big of a deal...not to mention the bumper crop of quality WRs this year in LA and elsewhere.

1 of the best WRs the state of LA has ever had... on a Julio Jones / AJ Green level out of high school. Huge, strong, physical, catches everything, and can take it to the house anywhere on the field.

But, yes if he doesnt come to LSU its because of things outside of football, and that doesnt bother me 1 bit. Guy has gotta protect himself and his family. Wish him the best of luck whereever he decides to go.

Haha... just a dangerous situation and I dont want to see him come to LSU then something happens to him or a family member. That would be horrible. Really is a shame that this is going on in this young mans life. Sure, he had his issues when he was younger but has completely turned his life around and is on the right path now. And its a shame this stuff is still following him around.

Hes by far the most talented WR the state of LA has produced in the past few years. Better talent than RR. And life is way bigger than football. Still would love to see him in P&G though.

That went down about a month ago.

Actually I think the party where his 16 year old cousin was murdered at was in LaPlace... Not really sure on location but ive read that either the party was in LaPlace or he was mugged at a gas station in LaPlace. Something happened in Laplace.

And yes. After that happened, he decommitted and moved to Colorado to stay with cousins then moved to Cali IIRC.

He wants in. Hes been all LSU since high school and was committed and ready to get here. Then, this happens. Hes always been all LSU. But now its the dangerous environment that is worrying him and might be safer if he goes somewhere else. Nothing to do with Auburn. He wants to be here. Just not sure if its safe for his family and himself.

I understand that he loves lsu, but if all this went down it would make logical sense this led to the decommittment. Coming to lsu and having to look over your shoulder everyday would be impossible and detrimental to life, school, and football.
