Post Ole Miss game.

LINK

Many recruits reactions to the game and atmosphere. Very positive article for us.

quote:

It was a great feeling to me. I never thought I would get that much love at home. I loved the atmosphere and pride at LSU, and I felt like a football player because I was in shock how many people ask to take pictures with me and shake my hand while I was on the sideline and how I talked to the players and came in the locker room with them. That really motivated me last night at this early time. I never thought I would be in this situation, but I enjoyed myself last night. I loved LSU’s stadium and being there for my first time, it made me feel like I was at home and it was nice being around for that experience.

I like the sounds of that.

Devonta Smith also impressed.

quote:

They’re throwing the ball more,” Smith said. “I want to see them continue to do that. He (Craig) just told me that now that the coach (Les Miles) was fired to watch the things that are going on. I have watched and he’s stuck to his word about the offense opening up.

Not sure why. A certain demographic doesn't have LSU legacy parents or are fed LSU stuff everyday. You think a kid from the Lower 9 is worried about visiting Tiger Stadium?

It was also Devonta smith's first game in tiger stadium as well though. Which is interesting being that he has been a top prospect of the state for a while now.

Well, he's been a Bama lean for a long time and was committed to Georgia at one point.

Check out the Chandler Fields. The Holy Cross QB is hurt this year, but he is a legit pro-style talent with athleticism. Sounds like he is already set to go to LSU.

Fields broke his collarbone in week 1, was out the next 4 games, but returned two weeks ago bs Rummel. He attended a Top Gun camp, I believe, in Florida the summer after his 8th grade year and was named MVP of the camp, also went out to California to a camp this past summer. He trains with a personal QB coach in Harahan
