Especially after today.

These commits smell funny. Seem very "staged" about the time LSU is making staffing decisions.

Wait until they go on an official visit and find out their is no population of social life in fact life of any kind . The first cold front they will be back in Louisiana on a Greyhound Bus . Kansas !!!!. The main drag is the talk of the town on a Saturday Night .

More like big fish in a small puddle! Has either been to KU yet? If not then this is 100% bs.

An obvious problem here is LSU is so slow to offer the LA kids. LA kids have noticed that LSU is waiting to offer them late and they are not having it. Kids don't want to be viewed as some backup plan. Coach O is supposed to build a wall around the state he has to offer more kids within the state early and, I stress if the player is on LSU's recruiting board then offer the kid.

He's offered Jason and Harris. Stearns trumps Brule. We also have Joseph.

Williams I expected would have gotten an offer before this act. Chase was probably a camp guy given all the WR talent in LA this year.

NOLA is a going to be a problem if we don't get our arse in gear, we have work to do. Hull is a great Coach he doesn't have to sell these kids on much, come here and play early, be KU's first option, you don't have to be LSU'S backup plan. Believe it or not some kids didn't take it well as being looked upon as backup plans. Juluke's reassignment is also a big problem in NOLA, he is a key figure in the coaching circle. Coach O has to get this rectified quickly.

This is bizarre. I live close to Lawrence and go there frequently. I have no idea why two talented football players from the New Orleans area would want to go there.

Thought Jaluke had family issues and that he needed the reassignment to handle things. If so, that needs to be made clear. Maybe Dellenger should do some story on what Jaluke coaches through this year.

This is truly bizarre...

6 commitments released in one day, with 5 from NOLA area, and 1 from TX.

2 Landry-Walker, 2 Rummel, 1 Hahnville (my alma mater)

Kansas has 1 player drafted higher than the 5th round since 2010 draft (that's 2009 college season). They have had 7 players drafted between 2010-2016 drafts, getting zero drafted in 11, 12, 14, and 16.

They have 12 players drafted since the 2005 draft (2004 college season), They have 1 first rounder, 3 4th rounders, and the rest 5th or worse.

Mike Lee from NOLA Landry-Walker had a tremendous season at KU as a Freshman in 2016. I think that he totaled 77 tackles despite not playing in the first 2 games. He's one heck of a hitter - look at this video of the hit of the year;

That hit is just one of the 77 reasons he made the All-America Freshmen team. The fact that he played in 10 games as Safety, most of them as a starter, is a big reason these LA kids want to come and play at KU.

Lawrence is a better town than Baton Rouge times 1000.
