Sorry again for always being on mobile and not able to link....Devin just ran a 4.4 40 at the Opening. That's incredible speed for someone who's listed at 260lbs.

Good lord. Any other notables for the sake of comparison?

Dylan Moses was winning the Sparq challenge as of this morning

Link?? What is the best way to get opening updates?

It was a 4.49 to be fair. Still unreal

I told u in my post I'm on mobile at work, not able to post a link. Sorry. Even if he had ran a 4.5....that's still insane for a guy who's 260

Being a running back being hit by a LB that big and that fast.
frick alllllll of that.
Nope.

Haha that's what I was thinking...as a LB I wouldn't even want to hit something that big moving that fast.

Even if he's toting the rock, that is a big man moving very quickly.
Mass x Acceleration equals Force, a whole fricking lot of it.

Even if you can't post a link you can still answer my second question? lol
Posted on 7/8/15 at 2:57 pm to Blanky6715
My bad I didn't read it correctly lol. I'm not sure where though, just saw an LSU site posting these on Facebook

Anybody know where we stand with him? At this point it looks like he could go with us, the gumps, or Arky. I have a feeling we land him, but my feelings don't count for anything lol

Yes, but maybe not.
You were probably looking for the equations for momentum and impulse. Momentum is mass x velocity. That describes what Fournette is bringing to the collision.
Now, how painful is it for the guy who he runs over? That's where F=ma is useful. But "a" is the change in velocity (divided by how fast it changes), or the amount Fournette slows down, divided by Fournette's mass.
Obviously, the faster Fournette runs the more change in velocity is possible. But it doesn't necessarily correlate.
