Sure... whatever it takes to get him on campus... During camp let him see how hard it's going to be to bust through and be the 3rd string back and he will be begging to move to defense...

I know for a fact that LSU has evaluated his core competencies and views him as the best long snapper in the class. If he's not good with that evaluation, then by all means, go to another school.

Anyone who's ever been around teens knows how quickly they can change their mind. I make no claims to knowing what Devin says now, but it wasn't long ago that he was ruling out any college that was recruiting him to specifically either offense or defense; he wanted to the opportunity to play on either side. It wouldn't surprise me to hear him say he now wants to play RB. I agree w/ Mayfair: get him on campus and let him see how he compares and let him see which position will get him the earliest/most playing time. That's a real challenge recruiting a lot of the players these days: they want, end in some cases expect, early playing time.
For the record, I've been told he has a really good relationship w/ Fournette and Dupre.
