Davon Godchaux U.S. Army jersey presentation today (updated w pic)

Congratulations and well deserved! He impressed me over the past year with his effort and dedication to obtain an offer from LSU. The young man is in our prayers to recover from his injury. It's a shame that the injury will prevent him from participating in the game, but I was pleased to read that he will still be presented with a jersey.
There is a strong need for Willis, Speedy, Dupre, LF, Tony Brown, Hootie, CG, and the 5* guys, but it is nice to hear about a 4 or 3* player that plays hard and earns an offer at camp. Davon Godchaux made it known early in the recruiting process what an offer from LSU would mean to him. He worked hard and met his goal. I am very proud to have this young man wearing purple and gold to represent LSU in the near future.

Congrats. Great to have someone from my high school playing football for LSU. Can't remember the last Green Devil to wear the purple and gold on the football field.
