If this Guice kid plans on winning a state championship he better get away from Dale Weiner. Weiner had his chances of at least playing in a state championship a number of times. The weak disrict schedule continues to hurt Catholic come playoff time.

Considering that the last 4a state champ from br is now a 2a school that is o-5....

Are you suggesting he move from baton rouge to play for a state title?

As for the state non being as competitive as it was years ago..the college coaches fro OOS flocking here disagree

Did Derrius beat your kid out in peewee football? This is an LSU recruiting board, not a bash Derrius Guice board. All your 8 posts are either bashing Derrius or Catholic high. GTFO

Dylan will ride the pine as a sophomore behind Derrius! Y'all know Catholic has a Seniority system!

Not really. There are a lot of young players that will litter the varsity field next year.

I get more impressed with this kid every week. Catholic has been down for a little while. It's good to see their Catholic feeder schools bringing more talent to Catholic like this.

It's good to see people finally agreeing with me. I am looking forward to watching this kid develop and play. As far as a weekly run down of most of Catholic High's offensive roster and their updated performances this is not the place for it. That goes on the More Sports Board. The same goes for an evaluation of their coaching staff. I personally like many of the kids on their roster but almost all aren't LSU recruits as far as scholarships. To get an LSU offer a player has to be really special either in ability or potential. Even then an offer may not come.

What kind of vision would you say this kid has? Also would you describe him as a north-south runner or a slasher?

There are a lot of players on Catholic's roster that could play at LSU or any D1 school.
Derrius Guice will play at LSU or Alabama. I have watched Derrius since he was a freshman and he is a beast. You do not know what you are talking about.

Went to the game tonight. He broke off a 52 yard td run that was phenomenal. He's very powerful for a kid that age and has great vision.

He is hybrid, kinda does both! He doesn't sit in the hole and shake. He cuts to the hole and then he gets up field quick.
