Our new offensive line coach, Jeff Grimes (aka Optimus Grime), has known Damian since his freshman year. He recruited him to Auburn and V-Tech, and now is recruiting him to LSU.

Here is his 247 profile ( LINK).

Miles is apparently going to visit him at his school tomorrow but may be held up due to snow.

LSU is trying to get him in for a visit.

He is also looking at Florida, Maryland, and South Carolina.

I tend to agree, but based on his quotes about LSU he seems pretty interested.

Miles has pulled a few long shots over the years, so you never know.

They are recruiting well this year, but just imagine if they hadn't lost to Georgia Southern in a game that set football back a hundred years.

How long has he known Billy Ray Mitchell? Is he recruiting BRM to LSU as well? If not, why not?

Snow, mountains, or hell couldn't separate Miles from the Prince.

Yeah its so weird for us to know more history and have more knowledge than a 17 tr old.

Did you see them play? Did you see their offense? Did you know the coach has been there for years?

Maybe not a dumpster fire, but it sure the frick isn't progress or anywhere near Fla standards.

Good recruiting will take 3 years to fully develop across the board.

They are a dumpster fire, but their defenses have been stout for years. These aren't WR and RB prospects they are corralling. They are getting DL, Secondary guys, because the defense keeps shelling good ones out.

Well, it does tell you how little guidence these kids receive. It wasn't florida's record that was disturbing. It was the fact that the kids quit on their coach. Tells you a lot.

Take Georgia, they didn't have the season they wanted, however, they played hard every game. They didn't quit on Richt. Florida, totally quit.

It's a bright spot for being head coach at UF...Not very difficult to recruit there if you have a pulse...See Ron Zook's recruiting prowess during his 3 year tenure while commanding his dumpster fire.

Prince George's County schools are closed today - I would guess that private schools (assuming that's what Bishop McNamara is) follow suit.

I would be surprised if Les flies in today - he would be caught until sometime tomorrow.

It's not as long of a shot as people believe... Grines has been recruiting him for years so it's not like we busted on Crob and all of the sudden sent a recruiter to his doorstep...
