Any impact on Sylve's recruitment? I don't know what our coaches' relationships are/were with Crutchfield.

Don't think it will affect recruiting, this is between Crutchfield and S Plaq. However, Crutchfield is Syvle's stepfather.

No it will not... Bradley is an LSU lock.. Wants to stay close to home.. Very close to his mom... So unless Crutch uproots out of La.. Not going anywhere else

Crutchfield is a big LSU guy.

Which is a risk. You better hope he lands a job in Louisiana or things could get interesting. Although the meltdown would be fun to watch is somehow Crutchfield gets a job somewhere in Alabama.

Some teachers in Plaquemines parish don't like him. I know some down there. I've heard he acts like he is a big shot down there and is above the school board law. He walks around like he is some celebrity (and he probably is to some people in Plaquemines for what he has done.) I have heard stories of him trying to bully teachers for grades for his kids and cursing them out, but he does seem to care about his kids and there well being.

It's a shame. If he can get over his big headedness, he could be great for SPHS and the community as he was building a dynasty and is a good coach. Sad situation.

I'm glad I was able to listen to 870am with Bobby talking to the QBs mom (protecting Crutchfield) and Roussell the school board superintendent on right afterwards.

I admire Saban's coaching style, but I am not going to send my kid to Alabama. LSU or nothing.

Ok.. let me give you all the low down.. I was born and raised in Port Sulphur.. Moved out a long time ago after college.. Most of my fam is down there and work for the school board. His mom Micky is my 2nd cousin.. So I know BS is an LSU guy..

This is a personal matter with Rouselle.. Before he married my cousin... He was messing w/ this white girl on the DL who was seeing Rouselle and he found out... Thats what all this is coming to... Rouselle only gave a 3day suspension to a coach at Belle Chasse for messing w/ a student..

Like I said before.. only way BS doesnt go to LSU is they uproot to a state w/ another big time program.. And I know Saban has been down there a few weeks ago.. But rivals got it right..HIGH on LSU

BTW Port Sulphur S Plaquemines are on my next visit to Louisiana I am making a special trip out...was gonna buy Coach a beer...I'm sad to see this happening to him he's emailed me about 4 times and we talk Saints/Dallas Cowboys and HS Football...I was just worried about some of his comments about Saban...

Sounds about right. Both good coaches both major douche bags.

He should go after the East St. John gig. Would be interesting to see his coaching style at the 5A level.

Unless he was asking them to screw that's still hardly a fireable offense.

Big Influence.. BS is his stepson.. He is the reason BS is a great football player and track star.. South Plaq doesnt even have a track.. I have met him only 2xz.. And he seemed nice to me.. My fam thinks he is a pretty good guy outside of football.. His coaching demeanor is like Saban.. Tough and hard.. How can you not like Saban as a coach?.. But Crutch is an LSU guy..

As for what he said.. Rumor has it that he "ask the teacher for some" ... 2 kids said he did after being pressured.. 5 others say he didnt say anything.. Cant confirm if its true of not

I'm from down there too. From what I heard he hasn't actually been fired, he could still teach if he chooses to, just not coach anymore. But seriously he's a lot more football and track coach than teacher, so is he really going to stay just to teach and drive the bus. I heard he said to a male student "how would you like to hit that p****" and the female teacher he was supposedly referring to over heard him and reported it.

He's a great coach. Some people do almost deify him down there, but he does have some people who don't like the way he does things or his attitude. He's an adult, not a teenager, so yea if he said it, he really put his foot in his mouth, but I still think the punishment was beyond what the alleged transgression was........
