Is it not obvious that whoever is in charge of his recruitment is playing all these schools for publicity? Supposedly, Quinn has more connections to LSU than 99% of recruits (family, coaching, location). If this was truly his "dream school", why didnt he commit with the other players who saw LSU as their "dream school" and help recruit the best damn recruiting class in 2014?
Ultimately, the odds of any recruit making the NFL for an extending period of time are slim. So you would think any reasonable family would see the top programs nearby as potentials (LSU/A&M) for future beyond football. Yet, we supposed to believe that they are legitimately considering Texas fricking Tech? This has to be a game. If not, (and if I offended the fam) have fun in Lubbock. :mindblown:
Maximus nailed it on page 2:
Quinn was just dying for his dream offer LSU, worked all summer to get it and would commit practically on the spot. Then he gets it and immediately wants to go to Texas A&M. A&M completely quits recruiting him so the Quinn family personally calls the recruiting sites to make sure they put big interest next to his new loves like Texas Tech and Clemson. If he wants to go catch a lot of passes in gimmick offenses and play on mediocre teams then good luck to him.
Additionally, IDGAF who reads this site. If a parent gets offended by what I type hiding behind my computer screen, they are way too caught up in the recruiting game.

Kingsbury or no Kingsbury, A&M has quit recruiting him it seems. At least that's what has been reported for a long while now.
I wish he would make the call for LSU. Need y'all to load up on WRs and maybe that will give us a shot with Speedy.

Stanley,
I do not claim to know as much as you or Maximus, as I am not an insider and not a very smart guy. But anybody who knows this family knows that publicity is not what they are about. Nobody is "playing" anybody. The last time I checked my calendar, and I am not very good with math, signing day is 9-10 months away. I think if what you and Maximus say is true, you would have seen this kid at every combine, camp, event, etc, but that has not happened. Nobody immediately wanted to go anywhere, TAMU included, and nobody personally called any websites. But you have a right to beleive what you want to beleive and say what you want.

Do yourself a favor and go check Odell Beckham Jr's commitment date. He had stronger ties to LSU than Quinn does. I know it's hard for some of you idiots to comprehend, but sometimes kids that love LSU let things play out and commit pretty late in the process.

I wouldn't get mad if he minded going to Clemson or Tech, I wouldn't mind if speedy OOC also. If they don't go here I'd hope they go out of conference. With Saeed, Dupre, Upchurch, and Williams, we have an explosive 2014 class with height advantage.
Why only question this guy. Most of these guys LSU was their dream school. Why haven't they commited yet. It is be because they are enjoying the process. I don't blame them. Let them enjoy the process. This is their fun in the spotlight. In the end mostly if not all of them will be wearing Purple and Gold.

the question is more about what oos guys want in this class and how long will LSU wait on the in state kids. LSU can't hold 10 spots until late in year or all star game when top quality oos talent wants to commit.
Dave, I have heard that and wanted to ask but figured I'd get flamed.
Also, and this one seems even more far fetched, but some Aggie posters on other sites have said that Noil does not currently have committable offer from LSU either....Is that right?

False. But thanks for playing.

Why do you guys say stupid things like this. It is just funny why you people come on here and say things like this. Go to the OT and have fun. But not here.

strange, back in January you were questioning whether or not he had a committable offer because you didnt think Quinn "looked tough".
Now you are 100% certain he doesn't have an offer? Did you ask Les Miles about this recently? How did you run across the info?

No, that's not true at all. Noil has a fully-committable offer...but, the stuff isn't pursuing him as hard as they are some other WR's. The offer speaks for itself, and he's either going to take it or not. I don't think he will, as I think the chances of him ending up at WR at LSU are less than that at other schools, and I think LSU has made him aware of this.

I can't wait to see the inanity that comes next.
Someone ask him another question, quick.
