Go be a Bama fan/recruiter if you want to make their case for them.

Hopefully he'll see that the changes CC makes and the return of Stud to his primary role will be the adjustments we've needed to make to start putting out OL talent in the league again?

I really hope LSUs lack of putting OL into the NFL isn't gonna come back and hurt us with Cam Robinson. We have been terrible at getting OL drafted since Miles got here, espescially compared to bama. I have to think that will weigh heavily on Cam and his dad when he makes his decision.

lololol wut? besides the guys going to the draft this year, who has bama put into the nfl at o line?

Information we're all very well aware of, without your reminder.

Hopefully. Maybe Faulk going in a decent round will help and Collins should have another good year.

And why would you limit it to just guys miles has signed...what does that matter? The players miles inherited still were coaches by miles and co whether he signed them or not. Bama hasn't put any elite o lineman in the league in a good while.

The only Bama Lineman actually playing in the NFL is Andre Smith, I think. They're no better than us in this regard. Barrett Jones won't do anything in the NFL, but he could be the white lineman if they ever remake Remember The Titans. The fat dude with the half jersey, Warmack should, though.

Yea, unfortunately, like most, I think he's puling a Trev Faulk and leaving a year early. Even if the pay isn't greatly different with the new CBA when speaking of middle to later rounds. I think the appearance of it to a HS athlete is still obviously more alluring when its an earlier pick.

antoine Calwell 3rd rd

mike johnson 3rd rd

james carpenter 1st rd

They should put 3 in this year draft, iirc. Then I think Cyrus Koundijou is likely a 1st rounder after next season.

if he is as good as advertised, Miles or Saban won't make much of a difference, he is destined for the league either way

Bama linemen never pan out in the nfl...the reason is they have an excellent coach that allows them to play dirty within the "rules". Imo, they are not coached with proper technique

Faulk was a lock for first round per injury. La'el, turner and Alexander will play on Sundays. We got absolutely raped with attrition with the lineman we signed in 07. We haven't even had any REAL lineman for a while. We were so thin, we were converting D lineman.

But if you guys have to...just go ahead and

and im not one to bitch and complain that bama holds on every play...because if its not called, then its not holding. but that technique does not work in the nfl and the proof is in the pudding

Most Bama PLAYERS don't pan out. All this BS of Saban's players being NFL ready drives me nuts. How's Kirkpatrick doing? Ingram? McClain? Hightower looked slowwwwwww every time I saw him. Kareem Jackson gets picked on each week. If Saban's players are so NFL ready, how come he couldn't figure out a way to have his NFL Players NFL ready???

Agreed. Just saying that if you're hoping that Faulk will get drafted early and that will help convince Cam to come here, then you're looking to be disappointed. If he would've stayed another year, then he most likely could've done this.

exactly, i cant deny that they are coached extremely well but this is very evident to me that they arent as nfl ready as all the short term memory people want to think
