Hope this yields the same results as Chaisson last year.

Holland believes we are in for cooks. He says we are making it very tough for him to go to Texas

Going into the bye week with three strong wins should look nice.

NO doubt. With the bye it will be interesting to learn who else they plan to visit next week. Best of luck CEO and staff, finish strong!

Texas fans can feel this one oozing through their fingers.

The official visit to LSU blew Cook & his family away. Everyone knows it.

This is known. All hands were on deck..coaching staff, support staff, academic advisors. Then add Delpit, Chaisson and Vincent to the party.

Cook and his parents also had dinner at Corey Raymond’s house.

That doesn’t just happen.

Again, I have faith in Corey and DBU

This is my general attitude towards any DB recruit we’re after.

Would love to hear him commit to the Tigers, but this fight for him is far from over. Signing day a long ways away, unless I’m mistaken and that early signing period is in effect now

The early signing period is in effect and I think I read Cook is an early enrolee.

Then add Delpit,

Grant also went to Lamar high school in Houston before he transferred to IMG. Probably doesn't hurt that he is starting as a true freshman.

Also have this guy from Lamar:
48 Carlton Smith FB 6-3 226 Fr. HS Houston, Texas(Lamar HS)

Hopefully he is good friends with one or both of them.

I don't think so. Reading it's a three team race right now.

From what I understand he never really said why he decommitted from tOSU, which to me when that happens with any recruit they are still in the picture. There was a "draw" to begin with... and if it didn't go away or change, well it's still there.

Meyer and Schiano visited on the 16th. Did Cook set the 30th as his date right AFTER that? Not definitive, but if I was a Buckeye and that's what happened, I would see it as a positive sign.

The next question is who is getting last visit (in-home)? Us or UT? Anyone know when UT visited last or when they are planning to?

The 30th had been set for a while. LINK

We're visiting on Monday. I'm not sure if that's in home or not, but I doubt that's going to be his last visit before the 30th.

Roger that! Well, I give us better than a punchers chance if that's the case.
