I have no problem with Hootie or North Louisiana in any way, shape or form. But I don't remember it like this.

I don't remember it that way either. I remember people being high on Hootie in like 2012, but the luster began to fade way before he committed to Bama.

I'm not buying this bullshite. If people are butt hurt we don't recruit guys good enough, then so be it. But we absolutely went all out for guys like diarse, Harris, cam rob, white and hootie. Not to mention 2 seasons ago we put a Monroe kid in the top 5 picks of the draft. And again sent a kid from Shreveport in the top 10.

Spare me these butt hurt feelings.

Missing out on the guys we did up there could have made a difference in the W/L column.

What's done is done. All that matters is it's being fixed.

Exactly. I'm curious to see the aggy spin when Chavis totally ignores the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in recruiting.

The only way I would worry about Chavis outworking anyone for a recruit is if there was a high school set up on Chavis' couch. That fatass doesn't recruit shite off campus.

I won't argue with you as I think you know a lot more than me.

But moments after hooties "first" commitment to Alabama, this board collectively went to a sad face ( sans a few of you, apparently). I remember it being so positive about his commitment going to lsu rather than Bama.
Could be me though.

I've traveled all over the world and have mixed with all levels of society in many cultures. The most ignorant people everywhere continue to be those who insist on living in the past. I've lived half my life in North La. and half in the South. And ignorance is prevalent in both! I listened to the Billy Cannon run on an old tube radio. And even back then, great athletes in North La. were overlooked and ignored. Eddie Robinson scarfed them up and prepped them for the NFL...check the record...I could write a book on the subject...living in a dark box is for stupid ignorant idiots! Speaking of the Rant! True LSU fans should welcome with open arms any and all that can make us a better University and FB program!!!!!

It doesn't really matter. What matters is that LSU is making an effort to combat Alabama in N. Louisiana.

Putting Ed O on the case is about as serious as a school could possibly be about a region.

One thing though, Saban will continue to get Louisiana guys (from the North and the South), here and there, until he retires.

Just a fact of life.

That's my point...the future is damn bright for the entire program...we've got the best recruiting staff maybe ever...if the Negatigers would just play in the traffic, the rest of us would be a whole lot happier...unhappy folks always try to ruin the party for the good people....jmho

Well, don't beat around the bush:
WHO is the local car dealer you are (sort of) calling out?
