RBs vs LBs 1-on-1 Full Video
Individual Highlights:
Edwards-Helaire vs Moses
Moses vs Akers
Edwars-Helaire vs Some Poor White Boy
Moses vs "#1-ranked Harris"
Akers vs Britt
Moses vs "#1-ranked Harris" Rep 2
Edwards-Helaire vs Ross
Akers vs Browning
I don't know how it's possible, but he might be more nimble on his feet than Guice. Edwards-Helaire is such a shifty runner.
Also, Dylan Moses did a good job of squaring up his hips in his reps, with the exception of his attempt to tackle Edwards-Helaire. His 1-on-1 matchup with Najee Harris outside of this drill was a thing of beauty to watch. He certainly looks the part in these camps.
A few other observations I had after watching the video:
1) Cam Akers didn't look as light on his feet as I would have liked to have seen. Then again, being able to break through contact and possessing the vision necessary to follow your blocks and see your running lanes are more essential to effective ball-carrying than being able to juke out a defender.
2) Najee Harris looked pretty underwhelming for the supposed #1-rated tailback and #1 player overall according to several publications.
3) Alabama has yet another stud committed to them at linebacker. VanDarius Cowan is a HELL of an athlete. He's got phenomenal range and athleticism, and he will likely thrive as an edge rusher in that 3-4 scheme.

I'm so tired of Bama getting all these freaks of nature. That Cowan guy is monstrous. Makes it look so easy.

Not gonna lie, he looks like an absolute beast.
Moses looked great! Size and athletic ability, can't teach that.
CEH looks like he'll be great. Very shifty, great upper body strength and quick feet.

Yeah he touched a guy and it looked like a tackle. Looked the part and was very physical..

Baron Browning looked good too.
He closes the gap fast with perfect angle.
He will be a beast LB too

Good Lord these camps are fricking terrible.

I agree. These camps are pathetic. I don't see how you evaluate a damn thing by these so called 1 on 1 drills.
By these standards LF was "tackled" by the guy he trucked at A&M or the guy he "helicoptered" from Auburn.
It means less than nothing because the drills themselves are useless.
It's like trying to project baseball talent by hitting a wiffle ball. It's stupid.

Watch his video on ESPN Recruiting site or whatever site you have access to. He is not just quick and shifty. He is slippery and super fast. He also is hard to see behind a big offensive line and he possesses the vision and leg strength to break tackles.
I think the more and more people see him play I think his rankings will sore high. Not that we really care what recruiting sites say, but he is a gem on our commit list.

Just watched his Junior season highlight tape... Dear god. That kid has a hell of a first cut. Patient waiting for the hole to develop and then he just shoots through and is into the second level. Gonna be a good one for LSU.
