Even though he did tear his acl again there was alot of talk about him still being able to play football at lsu. Did he ever get a scholly to play?

He's a coach's son, why would he not just walk on?

I thought he decided to pursue baseball over football.

He did. The ACLU injury basically made that decision for him though.

He never held a football offer

He's basically just backing away from football. He can do very well in baseball and pitched a complete game in the 5A Championship game versus Zachary last year and won it if I remember correctly. He's got talent, he's going to play it safe and go the baseball route.

and besides, I'm sure LSU could give Dad a little pay bump to assist with tuition. Although, that is probably against ncaa rules.

Most universities let children of faculty and high level staff waive tuition.

Not for a scholarship at LSU.

I recently read an article about him saying he does have an offer. During the summer camp he had a scholarship while he was there

This or they get a huge discount. I know if SELU allows it, LSU likely has an even better situation.
