Heres a breakdown of our 2014 class and targets. I started a thread earlier regarding the numbers at each position in the class LINK This however goes over the prospects we are targeting at each position more, both in state and OOS

QB - 1
Top targets: Brandon Harris, Donovan Isom. Both camp guys currently without offers. Offers are out to some OOS prospects like Deshaun Watson (Clemson), Mason Rudolph, Chase Litton

RB - 2-3
Top targets: Leonard Fournette, Darrell Williams, Sione Palelei

WR - 4, could potentially see a 5th with the amount of talented prospects
Top targets: Malachi Dupree, Trey Quinn, Speedy Noil. Cameron Sims w/o offer.
OOS: Ermon Lane, Tony Upchurch, Keenan Brown. Voorhies could play here

TE - 1-2.
Committed: Jacory Washington. Dont see us signing more than two with the amount of talent at other positions, possibly only the Westlake prospect
Top targets: Jeb Blazevich, Koda Martin (OT), Kevin Crosby (OLB/FB). In state w/o offers: Anthony Jones, Kendall Ardoin

OL - 3-5.
Committed: Will Clapp, OG
Top targets: Cam Robinson, Garrett Brumfield.
OOS: Andy Bauer, Bently Spain, Donell Stanley. In state w/o offers: Joseph Paul, Bailey Granier

DL - 4-6, at least two DE and two DT
Top targets: Gerald Willis, Davon Godchaux, Gerrald McDowell, Tay Thibodeaux. Willis is the only in state player with an offer.
OOS DE: Deondre Clark, Myles Garrett, Lorenzo Clark.
OOS DT: Travonte Valentine, Khairi Clark

LB - 2-3.
Committed: Donnie Alexander
Top targets: Kenny Young, Rae-Juan Marbley (no offer)
OOS: Clifton Garrett, Petera Wilson, Otaro Alaka, Kain Daub, Cameron Hampton (Texas), Tre Williams, Hoza Scott (A&M).
OOS w/o offer: Greg Miclisse, Josh Mabin, Jake Blomstrom

DB 5-6, at least two CB and two S
Committed: Chris Hardeman, Ed Paris.
Top targets: Tony Brown, Hootie Jones, Brandon Simmons, Adoree Jackson, Nicholas Ruffin, Jamal Adams, Nick Watkins, Davion Hall (WR). Jones is the lone in state DB with an offfer. Jermaine Roberts and Terrance Alexander are two instate corners w/o offers.
Possibility of at least 3 safeties. Paris is a combo guy who can play both...some see Brown and Jones as guys capable of playing anywhere in the secondary as well. Voorhies could play here

ATH
Committed: Devin Voorhies, WR/S. Supposedly being told hes being considered a WR prospect by the staff, but safety is not out of the question at all.

Some JUCO guys to keep an eye on as well this cycle are Josh McNeil, D'haquille Williams, John Thomas
Some other in state prospects to watch are Deldrick Canty, Peyton Winbush, Ricky Gibson, Quentin Gibson, Mattrel McGraw

Do yall see any out of state running backs getting in the mix with this class? Theres probably about 5 or so that have offers already but there hasnt been much interest and some are already committed elsewhere

Personally, I think LF and then another instate guy or two would suffice

Great breakdown, but I thought Josh McNeil had to stay at JUCO for 2 years since he didn't qualify.

Add DeShone Kizer to the QB list, hes the first player to be offered by Cam Cameron.

LINK

look like the kid can ball and is an athlete, 6'5" 200+

really looks like our QB for the class is gonna be a dual threat and not a PP

With our goal being a DT QB and not a PP, it leads me to believe Rudolph and Litton are long shots, which they were to begin with. Litton also has some legal troubles. Cameron will continue to evaluate some more QB prospects including Harris and Isom.
BTW...Sonny thinks Harris may be the state's best QB prospect since Perrilloux

D'haquille Williams? If he qualifies he is all LSU but will he replace one of the HS WRs? If so which one because just saw D'haquille's highlights and they were sick. If he were to qualify that would make this class extra special
