Nice list, but I don't think we need two RBs in this class.

My order of importance
1. DL
2. WR
3. OL
4. QB
5. FB
6. TE
7. DB
8. LB
9. RB

This. Pretty sure Fournette should be 1, 5 and 7 on the 2014 list.

List is in no order, just projections on who I think we should sign. I know all projections are not 100% correct. Would like your thoughts.

Maybe one running back this year and two next year. Looking for a heavy DE & DT class this year and a heavy LB & OL class next year IMO. Also probably 2 or 3 special teams guys next year like a kicker, punter and long snapper.

If we are talking guys who have at least a decent shot of coming to LSU in the 2014 class, I would go with:

Impact Players:
----------------
Guys a good chance to sign with LSU:
OL - Cameron Robinson (likely 5-star)
RB - Leonard Fournette (likely 5-star)
RB - Devon Thomas (Borderline 5-star)
DL - Gerald Willis (Borderline 5-star)
LB - Hoza Scott (likely 5-star)
DB - Edward Paris (likely 5-star)
DB - Jabrill Peppers (likely 5-star)
DB - Hootie Jones (borderline 5-star)
CB - Tony Jones (6.0 4-star)

Guys an outside chance to sign with LSU:
OL - Bentley Spain (borderline 5-star)
DL - Malik McDowell (6.0 4-star)
LB - Kain Daub (likely 5-star)
DB - Darrion Johnson (6.0 4-star)
Ath - Nick Harvey (Borderline 5-star)

Agree, Quinn has proven himself against good competition, some of whom are on our roster now. He will only get bigger/faster/stronger with time, and he needs more polish on routes and things that Coach Henry and Moffit will help with!

Agree with Dr. Jeff, I think Desean and Quinn are ours to lose, and I think Jones commits to us as well.

I am excited about 2013 AND 2014!

Can't argue really. Everyone has different thoughts and opinions. How do we know who's right until the kids play?

My thoughts on the commits

Rettig-redshirt. If Mett leaves, he could be streamlined

Diarse-could play early but if some of the others start performing to their ability, it may not be necessary

Leslie-better play immediately. You don't bring in a juco wr to redshirt

Baker-redshirt but honestly with his physical style as a blocker, I could see him playing right away.

Boutte-redshirt. I think all OL recruits should redshirt. Could see him playing early though. Talented kid

Malone-redshirt

Patterson-may have to play early and physically may be the most ready of our class of DEs. Has the potential to be good.

Lawson-redshirt but DT is a position where some kids just "get it" earlier than is expected.

White-could play early to me. He's gifted athletically and can be taught technique quickly.

Brazil-could play early as well. Kid is just unique in how he carries himself. Some kids are just better prepared to handle the pressure early

Cutrer-redshirt.

Stokes-could go either way depending on the kids currently on campus

Good job on the list, I analyzed it and I think we have a better chance than what people think to land Fournette if we recruit him as a running back my sources tell me he's not willing to play any other position, besides running back so in other words MOVE OVER BACON HERE COMES SOMETHING MEATIER. Also my sources tell me that he and Gerald Willis are good childhood friends and want to go to school together, and this is the truth so don't drop the ball on these two special players.

Not related to Shaan Washington, but I think he has all of the skills to be a Tiger. He should be getting the attention from LSU. Just looking at some of the out-of-state players that we are recruiting. He is an in-state kid and we need to recruit our kids. When things get heated, Louisiana guys stand up for Louisiana. Out-of-State players will leave us in a heartbeat. I think this kid has the drive to be good.

And no, we are not related. Just saw his workout on youtube. He seems to be a hard worker and has the skills to be a Tiger!
