Hey I am new around here, so hopefully this topic is in the right place, but I feel like Toliver is pretty much a lock to LSU and he is coming in the spring.. So my question is what are the chances you guys think he starts next year?

If Robinson is kicked off or transfers and collins leave, high chance.

T White has one spot locked down. Matters what happens to collins, mills, and Robinson.

If all are gone I would think him and ed paris would be fighting for that #2 spot but who knows

Thomas, Paris, Toliver are just some of the names on the list

IMO I think Paris may have #2 spot locked if Robinson is gone. Pending Thomas's recovery he will probably move to nickel. Paris had a really strong spring game and hasn't seen much time due to White and Robinson holdin it down

1. Collins (if no NFL)
2. Robinson (if not kicked off team)
3. Paris/Toliver/Thomas to compete for it.

Other side is all White for sure.

Either way, I see Toliver playing a good bit.

Since he's coming in January, there is a high arse chance that he starts opposite of White. Robinson is also a factor. If he comes back a does what he is supposed to do, then his chances drop.

Really it depends on Robinson.

I think Toliver plays, Paris should be in the mix. Usually you need at least three good CBs. Thomas isn't bad in a pinch, but I like him as a nickel type. Don't forget Battle.

J Collins and RR will play if they are at LSU.

He was destined for quite a bit playing time no matter what. Being an EE, that will only increase the amount of playing time; no need to increase his chances (because that's at 100% IMHO).

we play 5 DBs a lot with 2 LBs

he's most likely going to see a lot of the field if he's as legit as he sounds...could start slow like Jamal, and hopefully be able to put it together as quickly throughout the season.

If Collins and Robinson are really gone, then Toliver stands a good chance to start next season. Even if he doesn't, he'll probably still see a lot of PT.

If Jalen Mills leaves that also leaves room for Ed Paris to possible start at safety.

He will get some time IMO. Even if Collins and Mills stay ( which I REALLY hope happens, he will get snaps.

RR has to go tho. #problemchild

He'll play a lot regardless if he's declared a "starter"

He could. But I see him rotating in at some point and not being a full time starter.

And it depends on what happens with RR and if Collins goes. And you still have Thomas and Ed Paris.

He will play. Just might not be a full time starter.

Tolliver has been way ahead of the curve since day 1. He could take Robinson or Thomas's spot, especially with him enrolling early and probably will. He is a freakish lock down CB. LSU does so much with 5 DB's anyway I want to see Thomas, Paris, Tolliver, Adams, Jefferson, and Voohries. But even so LSU rotates everyone so we don't have tired players on the field. So most everyone has seen time.
