Cam Akers update!

Just got off the phone with a close friend who's coaching in Montgomery for team Mississippi(Miss/Ala All-Star game) and he relayed to me that Cam is starting to open up about where he is leaning to.It's really close but we(LSU) have the lead with Ole Miss and FSU tied at number two.That's a quote from Akers himself.
A couple of other nuggets.
Brennan is po at O(no shocker) and it's 50-50 on him signing with us no matter if we want him or not.Has zero trust right now with O nor does his family and he is pretty open about it.Oklahoma State is a major threat and Ole Miss is trying to get in the game but he said he really doesn't want to go there.
We are running about 4th for Willie Gay.Had to be reminded to bring us up in an interview he did yesterday.

I don't blame Brennan one bit. Hopefully that can be repaired. Especially since LK isn't coming here now

Couldn't ask much better than that on Akers. Hope that opinion holds up. Would have been great to get him on the OV, but it's just going to be a nail biter all the way through.
Brennan is certainly worrying. As good a recruiter as Orgeron is, he really screwed that one up.

Wow! This whole brennan thing has me ticked 
. So will we continue to be underperforming QBU under O as well? On the akers thing

OKl. state worries me more than ole miss. Unless O has another top QB, doubtful, he better be working on breenan big time to repair the damage.

If we can let Lowell redshirt for a year and completely hundred percent healed from his knee injuries and get another quarterback in with him preferably the other dual threat out of Mississippi Junior college guy I think, I think will be all right. Don't get it twisted I would much rather have Brennen and this class I'm just being optimistic about option B

I am worried about OkSt. I could see them as a big player with their offensive style. We need to get in there and mend fences. Never narrow your options with your recruits or staff until it's time to close.

If all this is true about Brennan it just blows my mind that someone, who is suppose to be an ace recruiter could frick up the most important position at LSU. Especially knowing the recent track record.

I realize Ole Miss is his state school, but their offense does not cater to a running back whatsoever. Air-raid system by far. Maybe it would change if he goes there, but idk.

Orgeron picking what QBs to focus on while he has proclaimed to not be an offensive guy is unacceptable.
