He visited with his family this past weekend. He seems locked in and he's a very good safety prospect. Another great job by Corey Raymond.

“It was great,” Sterns told SEC Country. “Just Baton Rouge, in general, is a great place. I got to tour everything, the facilities and hang out with (defensive backs) coach Corey Raymond.”
Sterns committed to the Tigers on Nov. 27 and was the first prospect to commit to LSU after Orgeron was named the permanent head coach. This first visit back to Baton Rouge certainly carried weight. Sterns expected to be back at LSU in March for the team’s annual Junior Day and again in April for the spring game, but this latest visit left an impression. If anything, it further solidified his commitment. “I love it here,” he said. “I will be an LSU Tiger.”

Corey Raymond is great. He will also be the key to us signing Pat Surtain Jr.

He is a stud. All he needs is about 25lbs

I wonder how long we'll be able to hold onto Raymond in this capacity. You'd have to think that a promotion is near if not from us, then another program. I know he's gotten raises but, id think he'd want to get a DC position sooner rather than later. He already has some knowledge and connections. I hope we can keep him for a few more years at least.

Ride Aranda for another year or two and he will be a DC soon. I wouldn't count on more than 1-2 more years from Raymond as the DB coach.

Appreciate the article. I didn't know his brother was a star safety at Oklahoma state.
I googled his name and he is one of eight siblings. Seems like his parents are real good people from what I read.

Talked to him couple weeks ago. Said how excited he is to get to campus and be a tiger! This is not a commit to worry about

Wish we could get some early DT commits like we do DB every year

Dude is a boss. He's also recruiting 2018 WDE Andrew Chatfield and 2018 DB Tyson Campbell from American Heritage, Patrick Surtain's school.
And he is recruiting 2019 CB Max Williams from Serra, Adoree Jackson's HS. LSU leads after his visit last month.

You really believe that he will leave the WC?

Maybe, he really seemed to enjoy his time at LSU. But I mainly mentioned him to point out Raymond is recruiting coast to coast.
