Another LA guy that will play a lot this year is Demarcus Hodge. Not a stat guy but that dude is a wall and hard to move. Another time where we took advantage of high DL numbers in LA

I think we will have more players from Louisiana then anytime I can remember in the last several years that will play significant minutes

I'm not trying to be mean but if you mean you guys are having success in recruiting in LA I don't think you realize the guys you are getting from here are either not being recruited by us or we have higher guys on board. Some of them do turn out good but you guys are getting the leftovers from the guys the rest of the sec west didn't want. We would've recruited Guidry hard if he was a '14 or '15 guy but our DT haul this year will be one of the all time best for the Tigers. To go along with that we have a fairly young group of DT's already in Baton Rouge. There is no point in getting excited over Fulton, he is Lsu bound unless he sees no shot in the depth chart then he will most likely go to A&M. Everyone else is a good ways behind in his recruitment.

How are we fricked? If we don't get Guidry? We have more then likely 4 DTs above him on their board. It's a dream if we were to pull 5 DTs

I don't know if this guy is good or not but he's not at the top of our DT board and we can't take every good DT in the state. I'd rather him at ark than ole miss, a&m or an Alabama school.
Now if LSU really wants him then hopefully we can turn him but I bet we will get who we want at DT.

He wasn't asking for a link based on the title....he quoted the OP saying that LSU will have better guys then Guidry committing to LSU in the future, that's what he was requesting the link for.

I don't like the bitterness or entitlement in this thread. We can at least show a little happiness that one of our own la kids is getting the chance to play football in the sec. Sure we may have guys higher on the board. But regardless, he's a high quality football player that will do well. Congrats arky

Strange, but I'm sure the kid has his reasons. Hate to see anyone with a name like Guidry leave. Good luck to him in every game except one.
