Hopefully you're right. It would be a good pickup and a guy who could not only contribute next season, but even moreso in the next few years. If they can land Kasongo or someone who can defend and rebound inside, then next year has the potential to be REALLY special. It would be hard to say that LSU wouldn't be the favorite to win the SEC

I moved on from newman, I suggest everyone else should too. Why do you think the staff has been calling Sampson everyday? They aren't recruiting him as a back up plan, they know newman isn't coming so they are focusing on who they can get which is Sampson and kasongo.

I gave up about a week ago, I'm just not impressed with him being a pg and being here one year. Would rather have a tq like player that improves every year. Hopefully Sampson can be that guy.

Exactly Sampson will be that TQ type of player. Dribble penetrate kick to Sampson and knock down shooter. I seen earlier this week on his IG he was at the practice gym trying to do a 360 windmill and I thought then we had him and it look like we do

LSU is currently ranked 4th in the SEC, 16th nationally.
With Sampson, we jump up to...1st. Nationally. Right above Kentucky. Of course, it won't stay that way.
I really hope we land Sampson and another top player--Kasongo, Newman, Papagiannis. Whoever.

This is info the night before the kid announces and signs. Newman info could have been good at the time but it was a while ago. Different situations baw.
