If you want to spout bullshite like that, take it to the rant, that is what it's there for.

This shite has no place on the recruiting board.

And subjective opinions can be neither true nor false, because they are subjective.

A better receiving core will come back with Jake Juneau who's getting recruited by LSU

Juneau's older brother Jon is attempting to walk on at LSU as a part of the 2012 class and will probably make the team as a RB/FB type. Jake, who will be a senior, is far from LSU caliber, just to clarify on that. As for Bergeron, the kid is pretty good. I've watched him for the past two years and look forward to seeing what he can do as a senior. His mechanics and accuracy are very good, but he could use some improvement on his arm strength. IMO, unless he has a huge season he won't get an LSU offer. Preferred walk on possibly, but he'll be getting lower level SEC offers along with some other respectable schools, so him walking on is unlikely. Good prospect though.

Very good timing, accuracy and anticipation. Not a great arm but will probably get picked up by someone at a mid level school or D1-AA and make someone a good QB.

I sense a lot of current cougars in this thread. If only the recruiting boards approval would get him an offer.

Kid looks good but as of now he's lower tier SEC at best. Got a season left to prove otherwise, but with the horrible playcalling at STM recently i don't see much hope for him to light it up in any signifigant (playoff) games that would give him that edge over other qbs of the same mold.

Good luck cougars, hope the coaches can finally figure out how to call a playoff game for yall instead of "disguising tendencies" late into the 4th quarter.

Spot on. Like you said, the kid isn't bad, but I don't see an LSU offer regardless of what he is able to do this year. Ole Miss, Miss St, U-La-La, Tulsa, and schools of that caliber are probably more what he's looking at. If the Cajuns were smart, they'd do everything they can to keep him in Lafayette.

He looks like a Bosie qb to me. Good accuracy and foot work, not an over whelming arm. I think if he preforms well in the camps he'll get a look.

Brandon Bergeron is another top signal caller that the LSU staff is monitoring closely. After visiting LSU on Feb. 4, 2012, we were able to catch up with Brandon to gauge how his visit went. Profile: Brandon Bergeron QB 6-3 195 2013 St. Thomas Moore HS His parents took the trip with him, and really all the facilities with him. Even though the family is huge fans of LSU, Brandon told our staff that he is wide open in his recruitment.

quote:

Here is a look at some of the responses given by Bergeron in a recent interview:
Q. How did you and your family enjoy your first trip to LSU?
A. "We all thoroughly enjoyed this experience, and my parents really appreciated the Cox Academic Center."
Q. Who has been responsible for most of your growth on the football field the past few years? A. "My Offensive Coordinator, he has helped me grow in my progressions and check-downs."
Q. Do participate in any other sports at St. Thomas Moore?
A. "Yes Sir, I play baseball, and did play basketball my freshman year."
Q. How would you feel if you received an LSU offer?
A. "I would be really happy, but I would still see what is out there, not going to rush any decisions."
Q. What did Coach Kragthorpe say to your family while on campus?
A. "He said the staff was going to be watching me over the next year closely. He also stressed the importance of academics?"
Q. Can you elaborate on that?
A."After position meetings for the coaches and visitors, we were spoken to for over an hour from staff concerning the academic portion of the school and what they expect."

The staff has viewed Brandon's film and can see a cerebral QB, with mobility, can throw on the run, and has gotten better going through his progressions. He will need to continue to gain arm strength, and work more on his agility.
