What ifs are dumb buuuut this team would be a lot different if we had Buggs, Akers, and Wilson. We quit on Ms. State but we beat Troy if we landed the 2 DT's above.

All those La guys were big misses. Even guys like Devonta smith that isn't really playing right now for bama could have at least added some much needed depth for us in a position of need. Probably would be playing a lot more for us right now too. The biggest 2 were probably Ettiene and Buggs tho. Buggs would be a starter and with our top 2 backs constantly hurt Ettiene would be a better option than Brosette

Buggs was a huge loss. Would undoubtedly be a starter for us. Instead we have Lacotoure at DE

Buggs was an even bigger loss because he was such a heavy lsu lean for most of the process. He and Wilson. O can't afford to lose guys like that at his position of expertise

We couldn't get him the options he wanted on the Charger. Saban Motors is tough to beat

how? he hasn't even played to know how big of a "loss" he is/was...

Akers, Etienne, and Buggs have played, and all have looked very good... still think Akers is the biggest loss so far, and we will REALLY wish we had him come next year, especially if we lose out on Joiner

Looks like a stud. Big miss. I put that mainly on Miles, but O should have jumped on him ASAP. Even if we had gotten Akers we could have used Ettiene.

No doubt, but we tried as hard as we could to get him here and everyone thought he was coming, but, there are no guarantees in recruiting...

All those losses in recruiting for DTs and yet WHO was the LSU coach recruiting them? Yeah, he is a great recruiter...

Losing out on Buggs AND Wilson. We are in desperate need of DL depth.

Not getting Etienne or Akers will come back to haunt us next year.

As far as being a help right now, Buggs for sure.

Down the road- Akers and I'm betting we're going to regret missing on Ealy (OT) as early as next year.

Wilson, yeah but of those mentioned it would be easier 'to make up' that loss.

How long does Buggs stay at Bama? Doesn't he have just one more year after this season?

He did. I know his family personally.

Basically, it wasn't said on here, and I was playing in Ban land, but Travis' mother was in college with Dabo's wife, and they were best friends.

That's how that deal went down, but to this day they will tell anyone who asks that O did everything he needed to do.....Miles was the problem with slow playing.

You joke about this but in the end this actually played a huge role in him going to bama.
