Yes. He was quite a good basketball player, not sure about his football ability.

I sat with Beaux and Theresa (Bobby's ex, and T-Bob and Beaux's mother) at the LSU-Florida game in 2007. They are incredibly nice people. Beaux seemed too small for big league football then, but he must have sprouted.

He won't be the only Hebert at Nicholls. It's good to have an Hebert back in the state. I read somewhere that Petrino was trying to get Beaux to walk-on at Arkansas, and that his scholarship offers were from NSU (he's a legacy) and Nicholls State.

Or maybe you sat next to me. I was directly behind Theresa, and Beaux was on the end of the row to her right, my right-front.

ETA: I was in one of the Acadiana Ambulance block seats.

Petrino's son also played High school ball at Greater Atlanta Christian. They also had a kid on the roster named Steve Atwater.

Any chance we can convince Beaux to bring big bro with him?

I got ya. I was sitting directly behind her for most of the games in '07. I assume she and I were both using freshman family seats.

I didn't go to any other games that year. Lately, I always sit in those seats. At the Florida game in 2009, I sat next to Michael Brockers mother, and years ago, I sat next to Jacob Cutrera's mother for one game, so those seats (I think that it's four, on the end there) do seem to be among the freshmen family seats.

Beaux and his mom were on 790 The Zone in Atlanta on signing day discussing his recruitment and Bobby. Apparently from what they said, Gary Crowton did call Beaux to see if he would be interested in walking on at LSU (Petrino also contacted him for Arky) but he said that he was committed to Nicholls.

Big pickup for us. He should start as a true freshman because we are changing our offensive from the option to a more wide open attack.

Our new coach has a good resume:
