shaq's son and javonte smart from scotlandville are both 5 stars! if we get the right coach i think shaq will influence his son to come to LSU if he feels it's right for him and i think if we get him we get smart

Short of hiring Cal we won't get either. I'd be stunned if O'Neal didn't stay on the west coast.

Can anyone name a possible coaching hire that could successfully recruit these two players?

As soon as Kentucky offers, Smart is gone.

And rightfully so. Ben hurt himself by not going to Duke. If LSU isn't going to get serious about basketball, big time recruits need to go to institutions that are serious about basketball.

Ben learned about being frustrated playing the game. Up until LSU things came easy for him.

A little humility never hurt anyone.

He was a first team All American, had the best all around freshman season in SEC history, was the first pick in the NBA draft.

So how exactly did he hurt himself?

Basketball Recruiting?

How about recruiting a LSU MBB Head Coach?

I do not think we'll get any good players to LSU with the current HC's leadership. It's really down. It's really bad.

I guess he was gonna be pick 0.5 if he went there? Big time recruits bring exposure with them. They don't "need" to play anywhere
