Man this basketball team needs the biggest shot in the arm right now. I have zero faith right now in this program.

As sad as it is, JJ might leave the program in better condition than he found it in. That's how bad Trent Johnson was.

Johnny probably isn't the answer for much longer, but some of you guys are dramatic about how bad he is. LSU was finishing last in the SEC most years I was in school there.

Too many. There's supposed to be 32 5* football players because there is 32 first round picks. They should only do 12 for basketball, same as the lottery.

Would you not want your son to get to the NBA?

Actually Simmons was the disaster knowing he was one and done no other team would have succeeded with him. We need guys who want to commit and play "College" Basketball and building a team that can win an NCAA Champ. If Simmons would have stayed for a total of 3 years, I am sure the team would have had more success each year. IMHO, Simmons needed to stay and learn more. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have growing pains in the NBA.

They arent, but hes done a good job at it since hes been here. Only our dumb arse fan base doesnt want the basketball team to get good recruits for the coach can be fired.

I agree we are light years ahead of where Johnson had this team.

I guess we should keep the faith with CJJ.

Maybe just maybe, us dumbass fans would like to see an LSU basketball team that doesn't self destruct and become a national embarrassment because our coach doesn't have a fricking clue.
