As it relates to LSU, what is going on with Bama that they have to use potential recruits to negatively recruit LSU? This whole deal with having Hootie decommit to try and screw up the Jamal Adams recruitment combined with the Gerald Willis/Landon Collins "get out of La" situation is starting to set some pretty low standards in what they're willing to do to not only recruit, but to negatively recruit against LSU.

I know recruiting gets shady, but it's hard to believe that coaches are now using players to negatively recruit schools. IMO when you start using kids as pawns and they, along with their parents, willingly go along with it you've jumped into some real duplicitous shite.

I understand that coaches have negatively recruited LSU for years, but Bama has taken this to another level of low by using kids to do their dirty work.

"Hey mom and dad come let your kids play for me, I'll watch out for them, keep them out trouble and get them a good education - in the meantime you mind if I get them to lie and cheat a little so we can win more, mmm k?"

The sad part for these kids is that they don't realize the long term implications of their actions. People will remember what they did for the next 25 years.

Great post. The Hootie decommit was ridiculous. Great thing is that LSU saw through this and didn't take the bait. They even told him to tweet, "where you at LSU."

Well LSU just has to put more emphasis on OOS recruits and not instate. As far as the initial post I believe it. LC hates LSU because the state has turned on him and look at the Karma of their actions. They lost to Bob Stoops who will dogged the SEC in the media because of Bama. In addition, LC showed the world that he is a scrub at S can't tackle or cover.

Saban is not only small in stature, he is also a very small guy in other areas...no, I'm not speaking of down there...I wouldn't know about that, but some of his fans would...no, he is the very smallest in "Spirit"!

if you REALLY think this was a Bama plot, well, i don't know even know how to get on your level of stupidity to reply accurately….

again, same as above, but the BEST way would have been to have Hootie verbal LSU, so LSU doesn't go after Adams at all, then on NSD have Hootie fax his LOI to Bama…

either way these conspiracy theories in the matters of 17 and 18 year old prima donnas is utterly fricking ridiculous….

I don't think recruiting was ever a very pristine undertaking.

Dude, just because a stort gets repeated multiple times on this board doesn't make it true. This is BS and isn't what happened.

Very true about many on this board. Never take anything people say as fact. Everything is opinionated . I only come here for entertainment value

This thread absolutely screams paranoia. Hootie didn't decommit as some ploy to frick LSU and to think that it just stupid.

It's nothing new, the gumps have been doing that for years. However it's not exclusive to them. Ole Miss, the Aggies and even schools such FSU do it. And don't think it's just LSU it is whoever is a threat.

But somehow Saban's ploy wasn't complete until Bama lost the Sugar Bowl by 14 points.

I just wish I could understand it all.
