Wasn't perry offered by the old staff and Ed and steele didn't really see him in this class and had alot of guys higher

He was a guy who showed promise early (started as a frosh and soph w/ a good frame), LSU "offered" and he tried to commit, LSU told him to wait, and according to people around Amite he didn't have a good junior season. LSU hasn't been in touch with him in a very long time.

indeed, he is slipping if he thinks Perry is SEC material. Good luck to both parties, but LSU isnt missing out there

I hear Cam Simms and Hootie are tearing it up in T-town...... there's a 2017 motive to this offer along with securing Shy

Its depressing knowing a 15 year old kid from LA will sell out the state that young.

Really don't understand the point of committing so early. I mean maybe if you are a legacy but it doesn't make sense considering all the potential change that could happen from here till NSD 2018

I know tons of kids that would commit to LSU as freshmen if given the opportunity.

Being committed to Bama looks good on resume

I think Bama's stranglehold will decrease significantly over the next 2-3 years. Way too much talent and coaching is being pumped into the SEC West. Lost Ole Miss, should have lost to us (damn you penalty), and should have lost to Arkansas. Also with Tennessee on a slow rise, it's only a matter of time before they start hitting back.

LSU, on the other hand, seems to be getting even better in recruiting, and Cam will make the QB problem, not a problem (watch and see). Happy days are soon to be here again lol.

It's the worst speed trap ever. It drops to 30 and they don't even radar, just randomly pull people over. Local news did a story on them with tons of stories of people being ripped off.

It's also scary going through there at night...always make sure my door is locked before stopping at a red light.

perry is a sign that saban is on the defensive. perry is a play to secure carter. after Robertson decommited bama, they couldn't afford the PR hit of losing carter. the ol guy is a crap shoot and a play to get into la. everyone thought the kid from many (texas signee) would be a star after soph. year and look at what happened to him.

Didn't saban do this with some safety that LSU didn't want so he could get cam Robinson.

If Robinson was all Bama, then There was no need to get the safety.....unless he really was talented.
