How could this kid have flown so low under the radar in a State like Florida? Pretty amazing.

For some reason it's still concerning to me that he's visiting another school on his own family's dime right before he's scheduled to announce.

If he's developed a good relationship with that staff, they're going to take the "we understand you're probably going to LSU, but at least come check us out beforehand, you've got nothing to lose". Fortunately, unless something has changed, Auburn's facilities are behind LSU at this point, and the campus looks more like a corporate headquarters than a college campus.

I realize Sean White won the Elite 11 MVP deal but I question how reliable those camps are. They don't measure a bunch of things very well like mobility, performance under pressure, etc. For my first witness, I call Jarrett Lee. Rivals and 24/7 and Scouts.com would have to be badly wrong for him to be much of a steal. Does he even have an offer from Auburn yet? None of the services say he does. On Brandon Harris, I don't call him an LSU lock but for a prediction, I will call him LSU. His gushing comments about Cam Cameron and him wanting to play in the future with Quinn who doesn't even have Auburn that high on his list are the reasons.

No White doesn't have an offer yet, they are waiting until he gets on campus for an evaluation.

How confident are y'all in landing him? I haven't seen too much on his recruitment. Who else is he considering?
It's hard to tell right now since he hasn't visited. We'll know more about where we stand once he leaves campus tomorrow. Personally I think he's LSU's to lose right now. And he's essentially down to Auburn and LSU.

He played for a lesser known school, but transferred to a much bigger school for his senior year. There's just so many big-time schools in South Florida that guys like him at smaller ones get overlooked

His film is very good also, it's not just camps. But camps are the best way to evaluate QBs, which is why almost all colleges want to evaluate QBs in person before they offer. White has impressed everyone in person with his accuracy, mechanics, and leadership. I think he'll be a very effective college QB. And no, he doesn't have an offer yet, but I think he gets one when he throws for Gus tomorrow

We need more Cam's. He seems to like people named Cam; Cam Newton, Cam Cameron.

Given he's never been to Auburn, would he really commit there the week after visiting them for the first time? Nah.

The other side of this coin if, of course, we're in his top 2 without him even visiting.

Also, he's already said he'll be at LSU's July camp which starts at the end of next week.

He's also said Auburn will be his last visit before his decision. The definition of "visit" has since been called into question. You may be right.

If i was Harris, it would be concerning to me if Auburn took a qb commitment the same weejend I was supposed to be at Auburn. This trip was supposed to convince me to not commit to LSU, but it seems they put priority on a kid younger than me.

Thats what id be thinking.

Why don't we agonize over the 5 stars. 4s are a dime a dozen - not worth the energy.
