brehan,
To be clear the 10.4 100m in Lafayette was NOT laser timed. You may recall when Jai Eugene was running all of those 10.25's and 10.3's hand-held times in high school his proponents said that his time was accurate. Barbe's Trey Harts(10.6 consistent elec. times) walked him down at the state meet. The regional meet, I believe is scheduled for tomorrow. Look for the results.
Do not get me wrong. I have been a fan of Quinn for a few years. Just sayin'.

It should help that his grandfather (Kessler), coached Henry at mcneese.
I was unaware of any relation to Coach Keasler, and I think he was gone before Coach Henry played at McNeese. My brother was a teammate of Adam's, and Coach Keasler coached at my high school prior to leaving for McNeese.
Unless there's a Kessler I don't remember, you may be confused.

Yes I was on team with Henery and Keasler was the coach. Quinn's mom is Keasler's daughter.

if anyone is sub 11 100m, he is considered EXTREMELY fast

Wow. Didn't know that.
I thought Adam and my brother were in the same recruiting class, '88, and Sonny was head coach. Was Adam '87? My brother was QB in '88 class, not Hud.

it's ridiculous because if we get all these great guys, whose gonna have a secure position? Right now looks like Dupre, Quinn, and Noil could start day one. Dural will be here and AP, Diarse and Brazil too. Then you got Desean Smith and Jacory Washington. That is some serious talent at the receiving position. Hell we might go empty back a lot some just to get all these guys on the field.
Whatever happens, though, if we get this right, Miles has built an SEC Oregon where speed and uptempo is the name of the game. We might only need three backs on the roster.

I think that Quinn coming to LSU would do WONDERS for that foundation...
With the amount of pub he'd get here, that charity would make a ton of money for a good cause

I came in '92 and he played 2 years when I was there and CK was coaching ...I'm sure he came in under Sonny

I forgot that Keasler returned to McNeese, that's why I was confused.
He was coordinator at NE when they went to championship, then came to McNeese. Kerry Joseph was one year behind my brother and from the same high school, along with Chris Fontenette, their running back.
Sure you remember those guys. By then, my brother had reconstructed labrum by Dres, and switched to safety.

He will stay within driving distance for his family--Texas or La.
